Yep. We got Luffy Straw Hat persona so the sky's the limit now.

So, Franky is about 8 inches shorter than Yamato. Jinbe and Brook are taller than Yamato. I remember struggling to see how tall he was in scale to others because he would slouch a lot near Luffy.

I already expect the SSG to show off weaponry and enhancements that are close to DF abilities. Basically what has been shown from some of the other research team members.

If the SSG truly takes on the role of the Warlords in the story, I see the crew struggling a lot. Doubt everyone will be a straight up enemy. Even the ones in the crew using Haki can possibly have a hard time. This is where Nami's knowledge of weather, Chopper's medical expertise, Usopp's pop green and marksmanship, and Franky's brilliance can shine where Haki use may fail to science.

I see the SSG being VP's time to show off better utility of the other member's advancements + more. Kairoseki as well.

    - Queen's viruses and cyborg enhancements
    - Lindbergh's inventions
only 1 confirmed for research team - Judge's human modification and cloning

Just wait, it's going to be Panda Dragon or something like that

What's the info pertaining Jinbe? I'm assuming it's stuff like nationality and family membership.

jinbe would be a train station worker irl too

His specialty in cooking is katsuo no tataki

So, Jinbei, who is named after and exclusively wears a type of Japanese clothing, who looks like a Japanese mythical creature, fights with a style of Karate, and whose epithet is actually a word pun on the Yakuza.....is Indian.

    Riiiiiighhhhhttt.

    Zoro already claimed Japan.

Jinbe as Indian is probably a Buddhist reference.

I'm surprised Oda even re-used a country at all, since he already said India for Urouge when he did the worst generation.

Ocher is a very specific color compared to the rest of the crew.

Oda probably couldn't decide between brown and gold, so he went for a middle ground.

    the important part
"...lineage factor was taken from currently existing creatures
This statement alone explains why Tama'd Dangos only work on Gifters, cause they are bassically regular animals, unlike demon-produced animals like real Zoans.

I still wonder about Chopper, The Minks, Animal Homies and Animal Zombies.

We got the full Info on Jinbro, see that's important stuff and is worth discussing it the Nakama Thread. Now we're going to discuss Yamato Nation and Color and we'll have funn okaaaaay!!

Hiyori in the chapter list is spoiling her presence in Onigashima tho xD

And why does Apoo gets a different spot than everyone else and not with the Beast Pirates, thats fishy

This has been speculated for a long time but it's good to see it made canon. It fits perfectly not just with Tama's ability to control them, but also with the centaur goons from Punk Hazard. Ceasar would have had to have a bunch of animals lying around for some reason for Law to pull that off. I love how it all fits together.

With Yamato being 2.63 meters tall (about 8 1/2 feet), that would make her as tall as Arlong and almost as tall as Brook.

This Jump cover being the inner title page probably surprises no one.

I honestly believe Punk Hazard will be considered alongside Skypiea as the best hindsight arc of all One Piece.

    Incredibly underrated arc.

So Yamato is in some way featured for three volumes straight, either directly paired with Luffy or juxtapositioned with his closest friends and family? Interesting

Completely agreed. I'm planning to do a reread of it when Wano's done and I think I'll enjoy it on a new level when I do.
