I'm the most curious about Katakuri and Yamato's rankings. These are the two characters who enjoyed a fan mania since the last poll. Both will probably be featured in the top 20, maybe top 10. Oden too, I guess.

It will be cool to see if Big Mom will rise after getting a lot more screentime. Kaido will probably get in the top 30. From the Tobi Roppo, I can see Ulti getting a super high position already, but all of them are charismatic.

Maybe Tama is popular? I don't know. I'm curious about Pudding after she fell in love for Sanji and kissed him. Carrot got some great moments too at the end of WCI and could place higher, but it's been some time since. I don't think any of the scabbards are super popular, but I want to see their popularity order and whether any of them will surprise (maybe Kiku?).

We all know sanji will not surprass zoro if he failed to do it when zoro was absent for 2 years in WCI and it was sanji's year. But I could see law and kidd fighting with zoro for second place.

It's really hard to say, especially since the Japanese community has some really weird outliers.

Like I also wouldn't have guessed that a character like Jinbe could crack the top 10, since that zone is mostly reserved for characters popular with young boys (Ace/Law/Sabo/Zoro etc., the usual Shounen-Squad)

That said, I believe the volatile negative jumps will be from Sanji's sister, Cavendish and Rosinante, while Katakuri & Ulti will take over. Katakuri is a no-brainer, but it wouldn't surprise me if Ulti overtakes every other female character.

Big Mom has more haters now, but also more diehard fans.

Jump's method of polling is about voting on your favorite character, so the haters don't matter, only the lovers. The question is whether or not Big Mom fans are fans enough to vote for her instead of another appealing character since you only have one vote (I think).

If it's like other shonen jump popularity polls, people will get the postcards to vote with the jump issue or the next volume. So the actual question is...are 'x' characters fans diehard enough to buy like 50 copies of Volume 98 just to vote that many times? And the answer for something as big as OP is usually yes.


Unless they just let anyone vote with no restrictions in which case the question is 'are they diehard enough to fill in 500 postcards'?
