...really?He also said that one of the officials startled him by questioning the lack of “equity” among those he had vaccinated. "Are you suggesting that there were too many Indian names in that group?” Dr. Gokal said he asked.
Exactly, he said he was told.
He was fired for not engaging in racial discrimination?
Basically he was fired because he saved 10 doses of vaccine running around town vaccinating people that could and should receive it, but since they wErEn'T wHiTe and it was nOt pRoToCol, the hospital booted him and a state attorney deciede to file charges.
China refused to give the WHO raw data on early COVID cases.
This is turning into Trump's tax returns.
Only the Trump in this instance actually *is* a full-blown dictator, so good luck with that.
You're not starting Lunar New Year very well, China. This is my lunar sign too, so it's pissing me off.
Their Governor is a an asshole
Their Lieutenant Governor is an asshole
Their Attorney General is a dumbass in an addition to being a douche.
Their U.S. Senators & Representatives are pieces of shit
Shouldn't be surprised at any of this.
Speaking of which where are the same people that praised a hairdresser for opening up during the lockdown to step up and defend this guy who actually did something logical.....oh yeah the doctor isn't white.
Other country leaders: "We want to buy and approve more vaccines."
Bozo: "I want the israeli spray based on ovarian cancer medicine that has been tested in only 30 people." "What we have shortage of vaccines? What can I do, I'm not a grave digger."
Governor Baker is fucking up. He did a good job at the start of the pandemic by making sure things were quarantined properly and making sure masks were worn, but now this fucker can't seem to get the vaccines properly distributed. Seriously, we are only now on getting people over 65 vaccinated, and it's taking forever because it's only by appointment and all the websites are crashing. For Christ's sake.
You guys are getting nurses faking vaccinations? Or the Gov't still refuse to sign an accord with Pfizer? if not you're better than us.
Oh I know we're still better, but this is a state with plenty of money and people to get this all going better and faster.
Hell my friend in FEMA was helping in Texas (pre-storm), and they were vaccinating 1000+ people every day. One site here (at a big mall) can/will only do 100 spots a day.
Sister has the vaccine now (she works with the elderly), but she's still freaked out at the possibility of her being able to infect me even if she's immune. I know that hasn't been proven true or false, but the caution is still there.
Sucks, cause she had to go on a flight today with an asshat who would take off his mask when flight attendants weren't looking and told her that the pandemic is a hoax. You know... Saying it to a woman wearing two masks, a face shield, false glasses, and vaccination. I wish people weren't so damn irresponsible.

Apparently North Dakota saw how Kristi Noem fucked up and decided they couldn’t let the indignity of South Dakota being horribly stupid stand.
Got my second dose yesterday. Woke up with mild grogginess and arm pain, decided to go to work. By noon it felt like a moderate flu and I regretted going in. Currently have a throbbing headache, soreness, and I might be imagining a fever. Would go pass out now, but I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night.
I fully recommend scheduling the day after off whenever you get there. This is awful lol.
Some people react worse to vaccines than others. I'm sorry yours is so bad.
My mother THANKFULLY got an appointment on Friday. I may ask to switch with someone at work to see if going with her would get me one as her family/companion.
SHIT. I have to do more laundry now:

Honestly that article is a bit questionable. First, even if it's only a small nitpick and BBC's fault, COVID is the disease, not the virus, a disease can't "survive" on clothing. Second, they used a virus similar to SARS-CoV-2 so there might be a difference still but we can't tell yet because third and most importantly: That study isn't peer-reviewed yet.
So just use the same caution as before, keep your distance, wear your mask, don't touch your face, wash your hands
