I don't know about anyone else, but Marco's not really a character I'd ordinarily use an exclamation point after his name.

NOPE. Not gonna fool me. One good looking episode to sucker people in, then we'll get the same frame of Big Mom's group heading to Udon for 5 minutes every 5 minutes for 15 episodes.

Cablao's scene was the only truly noteworthy thing visually from this episode.

Next episode looks great. Really looking forward to them capturing a real sense of adventure that I felt the chapters were a little lacking in. Looks like the next two episodes at least should be good.

Yeah I ain't being fooled by that trailer for Wano either. They do this every arc. Pack the first couple episodes with the best art and animation then the rest goes back to form.

Why has Jozu 2 arms again?

And is Marco asexual after he commented that doesn't know stuff about man loves woman thing?

Marco stood up on that prow and yelled "ACE RIGHTS"

And no, not that Ace; he was into fisting.

He was saying it was a private indoors affair...

Also, don't take that Whitebeard scene literally. Considering it took place in literally the void, its pretty obviously supposed to be a metaphorical non-literal demonstration of events.

The episode was fine. I didn't get anything out of it. Sunday morning anime watchers will probably forget about its contents by the time Marco becomes relevant in Wano. Time for the good stuff to start next week.

    Yay.
    Finally Marco back again.

I wonder what message he wants to pass on to Luffy? .....

Finally Wano begins and no more fillers...

To be fair, its usually the first 15 or so episodes that have good art and animation. They keep it up for as long as they can.

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

What we needed more staff, and maybe firing a few of the old staff. We are getting some new staff, so hopefully that helps

Didn't we already kind of do that?

New series director, new character designer, replacing the photography department?

Hoping they can pace themselves using the act structure.

BTW, the first 15 or 20 episodes should cover act 1. If the production lasts until then, and they have some kind of intermission between acts for the production to catch up, then hopefully it can hold out. Either way, productions like One Piece fluctuate, so the first batch of episodes won't necessarily be the absolute best.
