For all the fighting it was a very sweet chapter.

Wait, was the whole pervert angle just him compensating for being gay then? Or is that a translation/cultural issue?
    Complicating things since 2009.

I really liked this chapter. This is the kind of teamwork Horikoshi has been building up throughout the series. Class A competed with Faux 100%. That's huge. Also loved the Kamino parallel and Ida's glasses and suit breaking in the process.

I was so annoyed with that. I finally thought MVA was here. But, I wonder if Bones will take a panel or two from Aizawa's flashback in Vigilantes.

That would be amazing if true. Greatest plot twist in shonen in years.

Bisexual Mineta FTW. Now, actually do something with it, Horikoshi!

Loved the chapter. Especially that last page, that hit hard. I'm so glad Ida was the one to get the spotlight, he hasn't gotten a lot of scenes for a long time and it's a great way to show how far he's grown. I was thinking Stain would go after Deku because he lost his way, but now it looks more like he'll see how Ida (and the entire class) has become true heroes.

There is a special something about MHA that I love but I can't really put my finger on it. Something about how Horikoshi deals with his character's mental well being and relationships resonates a lot with me. For example Todoroki's situation, how it's fairly complicated and not always black and white. The difference between the public's perception compared to the complexity of the individual. Or now Deku destroying himself because he doesn't want his loved ones hurt and thinks he's a saviour. Of course it's not all perfect, and I've seen enough criticism that I know it's not for everyone, but for me those moments - and the way they're told - has meant so much.

I saw people saying that the original line in japanese can - although more rarely used - mean great admiration.
But I have a better bit: Mineta's Babe Radar can feel Nana's ghost inside Deku, that's way he has fallen in love with Deku.

I really liked the team work to get to Deku and Bakugo being grown up enough to pass the baton to someone else.

I have no idea if people are genuine with the Mineta stuff since I got nothing romantic from it. Maybe its japenese thing Im missing.

I think people forget that there's more than one meaning to that phrase.
Years of shipping have poisoned people's perceptions.

In this context, I quite clearly pick up "I became a fan of yours" from "I fell for you".
It simply means that he didn't think much of Deku beforehand, but then his actions during the USJ attack changed Mineta's opinion.

MDL I think it's easy to get that. That's what I got when I read.
But it's more fun making fun of Mineta.

Not as easy as you'd think, apparently.

AniTwitter is kinda receiving the other meaning and freaking out in disgust.
A lot of bisexuals being like "NO NO NO WE DON'T CLAIM HIM, AWFUL REP OH MY GOD HELP US WHY" in 100% seriousness.

I want someone to rub a hand on their back and tell them "shh... it's a misreading. shhh. It's okay"

Like I said before, the japanese term can be used to fall in love and to admire. Since the first use is more common that's the one the search for it is going, which leads to this Twitter drama. But what don't lead to twitter drama.
And of course some of those that got the facts straight are just throwing gasoline in the fire for the LOLs.

People will always interpret things their way to feed their delusions. I read that as great admiration and not thirst for Deku. If people want to ship them they will no matter what happens in the story anyway.

Considering that the MHA fandom is one of those that's in the deep end of shipping it's not a surprise they went with that route.

I've been wondering something. And it might have been addressed way back. But why did All Might never let pros know there was a mega villain lurking around? I think that's part of Deku's problem. He thinks that juts cause his quirk is from AFO he is the only one who can do anything. Which honestly makes little sense cause all the prior users tried basically being alone and mostly failing. Deku's desire to be a savior would make sense if he was trying to protect citizens. Not folks that can blast through solid concrete, create icebergs in a second, and who can create cannons and drugs..

The previous users mostly tried a run and hide strategy because their power level was to low so I wouldnt say they tried to confront him alone. And that was mostly to avoid being track by his crazy reach when he was at his height. I guess maybe Nana did but she had Gran Torino.

As for All Might he had a thing about doing everything himself so unsurprisingly he took on Sylar himself. But to be fair to him heroes cant kill officially which he wanted to do with Sylar, he wanted to keep his transmittable power mostly secret and if Enji hopelessness is any indication everyone was incredebly weaker then them. But yes all might liked to do thing himself.
