Boris Johnson is the new Prime Minister of the UK.

And yes, Brexit is still a thing.

Boris is still going for that "... And Mexico is gonna pay for it" line of pitching Brexit to his divide nation i see. Let's check back in a year or two and see if they have gotten out of step one yet

Will the attempts to make it happen and failing laughably still be a thing?

Isn't Boris Johnson as bad as Trump?

Eh. I'd say he's more like the Stallone to Donalds Ahnold.

One is clearly more competent and accomplished than the other.

But yes they are sort of similar in a number of ways. Mainly the bullshitting

Boris at least has experience in politics, so that's...something.

Boris is fronting Brexit, which is a far more long term disaster for the UK than Trump.

This statement feels a little like tempting fate

So, means he's smarter than Trump?

Yeah.... I can't believe they are still going through with this.

That be interesting to see. I believe Scotland wants to secede as well.

Speaking of Brexit, what's been happening with that in the U.K?

To be fair isn't that essentially it's whole history from it being put to a vote (which won) to May's attempt to make it happen?

The most positivething I read about this, is that the new PM hasn't to deal with that one annoying guy named Boris...
"Often I think about my many comrades fallen by my side. I heard their curses against the war and its authors, the revolt against their murder. And I, as a survivor, believe that I am inspired by their will to struggle, for the idea of peace and human fraternity."

Well at the very least it's comforting to know that we Americans aren't the only ones who elect shitty people into power

I'm truly curious to see how it all will end up down the line.

Like 10-15 years from now how will this brexit thing fall out

Yeah, it will. Seems he is leading the country to a no deal.... well guess the United Kingdom will split into smaller countries because of this, I don't know.

Looks like the far right could win the elections in Italy. The Ligua has become the biggest political party

I don’t even care anymore. I’ll just migrate to Québec when the far-right will win here

Wait a minute. The royal family still have a little of political power nowadays?

I think it is mostly a formality.

It isn't a request as much as a directive masked as one.

But i'm no expert on this subject.

Macron is honestly fully in his rights to just call London and tell them they're crashing out immediately.
