U19 and Hungry Marie are the only one's I disliked from the beginning. But it seems like a decent batch of various genres.

I had a decent feeling that this new guy might go villain last week. It felt too early to introduce such a major trump card third wheel right after establishing just the main duo. At least the plot seems like it might go in an interesting direction now.

What is the fourth use of calcium carbonate? I think it might have been about burying the dead. You can get calcium oxide by heating calcium carbonate enough, and calcium oxide was used for burying corpses. Also, Senkuu totally disregarded the idea of scavenging old locations for materials or resources.

I'm guessing the fourth use is explosive, you can see in the promotion page Senkuu is holding something that looks like a Molotov cocktail made from stone

I don't like that he claimed that praising someone is always attraction or manipulation and was framed as correct.

After a quick wikipedia read, only violent applications is as a possible poison and purifying iron.

The other interesting one is that it "mitigates acids" so it might relate to the magic water of the cave.

Really enjoying this one, but maybe I went in slightly biased as I still feel Eyeshield 21 was the last great sports anime before the dark days of the bishies ruined them. This and U19 are pretty much the only ones from the new starters I loved, although the demon price one was pretty fun too.
