Bloomberg is pretty bad. In addition to the above, it was also revealed that he made some really transphobic remarks.

I dearly hope that Bloomberg doesn't get the nomination and am disappointed to see the news of him gaining traction. He's literally buying himself into this election. But even still... I would vote for him if it was him versus Trump. We have some bad eggs in the Democratic primaries, but Trump is still a world worse than all of them. One reason being that even the more conservative candidates like Bloomberg are being pushed to the left on some issues just because they're running for Democrat. Most notably I believe despite the transphobic remarks a few years ago, Bloomberg is saying he wants to roll back on the damage that Trump has done toward transgender people.

And again, I go back to the Supreme Court, the thing that I think a lot of "if my candidate doesn't win the primaries, I'm not voting" are ignoring. If we have a Democrat president (no matter who it is) instead of Trump, we will be avoiding a potential disaster of a stacked Supreme Court.

I meant in the primary. Obviously I'm voting Democrat in the general election, though being in California means that that particular vote doesn't really matter.

My personal ranking of candidates currently is something like:
    Warren
    Sanders/Klobuchar
    Steyer
    Buttigieg
    Biden
    Bloomberg
    Gabbard

Obviously Warren has more in common with Sanders than Klobuchar in terms of policy, but I think she's got a better shot at being elected in the general and I'm still frustrated with how Warren and Bernie are held to different standards.

Do you mean that Klobuchar has a better shot vs. trump than Bernie? I don't understand how anyone can think Klobuchar of all people can beat Trump, let alone compared to the candidate with the highest voter turnout by far.

Let all those people alone, the only one gaining atm is Buttigieg. if he keeps those numbers, Super Tuesday could go real bad for Bernie.

I heard that Buttigieg spent all his money on Iowa and NH so he will likely perform worse in the next states. He polls terribly among black voters, while it's essential for a dem candidate to win them. So it's looking pretty good for Bernie and thus bad for Trump. Looks to me that the biggest threats are all the centrist candidates dropping out earlier than usual and endorsing Butt or Bloomberg. Bloomberg is not to be counted out because, not only does his unlimited money make people think he is the billionare to stop the other 'billionare', but all the ad money makes it so the media and its pundits profit from his continued success/speaking well of him and getting a nice job from Bloomberg.

Klobuchar overperforms in red districts in Minnesota, while retaining high turnout in blue districts.

Every four years I watch this with one eye open, and every time I keep hearing about the same god damn states (Iowa etc). I don't know why those. I will not bother look it up. Alls I know is, American elections are wack.

Yeah you're right and thanks for providing more examples. I somehow thought that rigging would explicitly mean to manipulate the actual results after the election.

He thinks that's BS concocted by the left to smear Trump. There is NO getting through to him. He's proud to suck Trump's dick.

Klobuchar claims she will carry the Midwest which is where Democrats are really lacking. Sanders supposedly has the best non-white support this time around which he didn't in 2016, whereas Buttigieg seems to have very low support in the black community. We'll see if Buttigieg can still get the same results in less overwhelmingly white states.

And yet, this woman is a fucking Trump supporter. She was originally a Bernie girl, but once he lost nomination she switched. Because A. She hates Hillary, and B. She supported Trump's idea of a wall. No matter how much info comes out, she still supports the idiot. I haven't gone into it in detail with her, because it's always a bad idea to bring up politics at work, but I can't understand it. The only thing I can think of is that this woman hasn't gone to college and thus isn't very educated.
If she's into the wall than the key ingredient here is racism.

Bloomberg has almost overtaken Biden in polling to take the #2 spot. Some real monkey's paw going on.

I appreciate that the Sanders surrogates strategy for Nevada is making enemies of the most powerful union in the state.

Because, really, what bigger enemy of socialist movements is there than a union of some of the most exploited workers in our entire economy?

According to sources on the left, the union bosses are misleading/pressuring the normal members to be against medicare for all. Apparently the vitriol from leftist twitter is thus aimed at the people criticising medicare for all. I can't be sure whether that's true though. What I do know is that Warren has jumped on the bandwagon, criticising Bernie for it and also congratulating Klobuchar for her third place in NH lol.

There were some unions that pushed back against the culinary union. Regardless, union leaders have been moderate for a while and union members have been voting GOP for a while.

Current "whoops, we were too big of an asshole online again, time to reel it back" tactic is admitting that M4A is unlikely to actually pass and that it's merely a campaign thing for Bernie.

This after eight or so months of accusing anyone who questions the idea and/or feasibility of M4A as hating poor people and wanting their grandparents to die.

Culinary union in Nevada is actually fairly militant for a union of it's size and prominence (it got an absurd amount of benefits and pay for it's members, very very good prizes in an industry that's rife with exploitation and in a state that's been a long-time war zone for big corporations, the mafia, and the gaming commission.)
