Right. Companies don't operate on normal seasonal schedules. Hah. There are only two seasons in the world of marketing.

Maybe I'm just optimistic today, but I'm hopeful.

Sorry if I am late, but FUNi posted episode of east blue trailer on youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykRBVyg-mpU

what's interesting is we are getting a new documentary with the voice actors. Also they play the Vic Mignogna English version of We Are, which is interesting with his recent events..

FUNi's marketing team needs to all get reevaluated if we actually did get new voyages starting in November or December and they didn't announce them ahead of time at one of the bigger summer conventions last month.

If they treat Mignogna like Benedict Arnold I dont see harm in using his version of We Are.

I was surprised by We Are being dubbed too, partially because of that whole thing but also because they've largely moved away from dubbed songs since the music rights thing so I would have expected them to revert to Japanese versions of old songs in new stuff just for consistency.

    Anyway, Just had a thought.

So, the last OP released on DVD was Fishman Island right? Next part they have to do?
    Punk Hazard.

So, when did Toei start releasing the series on Blu-ray?
    Punk Hazard.

What are the chances the delay has been because they've been negotiating Blu-ray rights for the series?

We’ve brought the idea up before. It’s possible, but it wouldn’t explain a full two year break.

Both series are only running for 24 episodes. The only ongoing series they have at this point are Black Clover and One Piece, not counting series like My Hero Academia or Attack on Titan where one season airs within a year as opposed to airing continuously once a week like BC and OP.

    Non-locked trailer link

I'm guessing they're just using the original theme for the trailer, as the one in the special was IIRC a new recording with fan backup vocals.

The pre-orders are populating now. Moment of truth.

Well, looks like Punk Hazard will start in December - what's the betting they announce the dub continuing and Stampede going to cinemas on the 20th October, both for December release?.

To be honest, I just don't know any more.

What horse? There is no horse.

It's Schrodinger's Horse. We don't know if Punk Hazard dub is alive or dead.

I mean, on the bright side, they don’t have any more content to pad out the wait. So they’re slightly more likely to release it now than back when they had more OP content. ...unless Stampede is another thing they can put out to drag the wait out longer.

Out of curiosity, I searched for all the One Piece anime media that RightStuf has on their site, and it turns out that Collections 17, 22, 23 and Adventure of Nebulandia are the top sellers. These are more recent releases, so it's not a perfect way to judge what One Piece sets are selling the best.

At least it means there IS interest in buying One Piece at present.

I seriously doubt they'd do back to back months with one piece.

*Since I wiffed on my guess for PH in the fall, my new guess will be either Summer/Fall of next year

A poorly edited clip show of my least favorite arc. Funimation is really testing my support here; I'd rather double dip into the collections, which I've done.

Huh. Well, if you assume that this may be the last release, then the dub started and ends with Skypiea. Of course hopefully that isn't the case.

Still hoping for news on Stampede.
