Most of the directors are doing simuldubs except for Apphia Yu, Colleen and Felicia Angelle so it'll probably be one of them

Well, that would explain the break. Hopefully there isnít another between seasons because of this. Joel was never a bad director, so Iím not cheering about him leaving, but it was always apparent to me that he wasnít as good as Mike. Hereís hoping Mike is full time nowóor at least as full time as he was before Joel took over. Weíll see how good the other directors are.

But yeah, Iím gunning for Mike to tackle all of Punk Hazard, since thatís my (now second) favorite post-timeskip arc.

Joel tweeted about working with Robert McCollum and Monica Rial a few months ago so he definitely did some of Punk Hazard

Even if some decisions Joel made were questionable, mostly nitpick examples though, the guy was cool and did an awesome Kuma. He had some unique commentaries as well that I enjoyed, like the ghost story stuff in Thriller Bark sets.

Oh, man. I really hope he stays on as Kuma. He’s great for Kuma and I hate recasting.

If he did work with Robert McCollum on Doffy recently, we can expect Punk Hazard to come out in the near future hopefully.

Sad to see Joel leaving the company.

Funimation's been losing a lot of their old guard lately, including Justin Rojas who was arguably the face of the company.

Does this give us an idea how far they are in the arc?

Doffy shows up towards the rising action of the arc so pretty far

Huh. So they’re five or four sets ahead of us. That means no break, I hope.

Punk Hazard is four sets and Dressrosa is ten, eh?

    Maybe solicits today?

Punk Hazard (+Z Ambition Filler) is 54 episodes (unless my math is off). So either 4 sets of 13 episodes, or 5 sets of 11 episodes. Not sure what they'll go for, but I'd bet on 5 sets

Season 9, Voyage 5 got a great cover in my opinion. I'm guessing Season 10 will be covering Z Ambitions, Punk Hazard, and Breed arcs (575 - 628, 53 episodes that includes skipping over the Dragon Ball/Toriko crossover.).

Funimation's site lists the Breed filler arc as part of season 11

It's probably too much to hope for, but I want all of Punk Hazard sets to release this year.

I would also like it if we breezed through episodes at an "arc per year" pace. I don't remember if it was Joel or Josh or Mike who mentioned a while ago that they had the DVD release schedule planned out all the way to 2020.
I wonder how much the delays have changed their projections.

I doubt we're going to get an arc per year, since Dressrosa is going to be like 10 dvds sets all together. That aleast is going to be two years to get through all of Dressrosa. Also at the rate Whole Cake Island is going right now, it's going to be a similar situation as Dressrosa, that's going to be multiple of seasons to complete the story arc.
