Hello thread! I'm Wilze D Wild but, enough about me, you should be directing your praise towards parappa and Shogunreaper. They are the ones who are actually putting forth the effort to "pace" these episodes.

I'm simply here as a fan who decided to merge parappa's edits into single videos (two in each) because I like the 24+ minute formula that makes these edits feel more like a real episode, except watchable. So, if you're into that sort of thing, feel free to download the links below.

BUT for whatever reason my 720 files are a bit on the large side; so if you're looking to conserve on space or just want to watch on a smaller screen I've also now added 480 versions.

And, hey, if you want to more easily check what episodes we've currently finished feel free to consult this fancy excel file by AMT.

Great job guys, I added arlongpark.net archive in the first post too, to keep track of all the work.

Many episodes on nyaa have full info in the description, otherwise it's just too much of an undertaking to retroactively correspond the episodes now.

Include my original edit links in the OP. When Wilze combines them the file size gets doubled from 150mb for 1 episode to 600mb for 2 combined.
I also imagine the video quality is lessened by going through another conversion. I might combine them myself later on.

Yea...still trying to figure that one out. I literally have no idea why Sony Vegas doesn't recognize the base video files. They're only MP4 and I've used MP4s in it before. Sadly that's just the only program I have that can fuse videos together.

Great work, Shogunreaper! Going strong, just checked it out.

I do wonder, when you guys edit, do you cut literally panel for panel to manga? Maybe sometimes it's okay to let the scene play a bit for a smoother transition? What does everyone think?

I do have the manga up as i'm editing it, but i just try to cut out as much filler as possible. Sometimes it depends on whether the cut is bad without the filler. (only based on video though, i don't try to cut around audio)

The only cuts i have trouble with are ones that end on a person talking, with how keyframes work i usually have to cut it short or the next scene will get through.

i'd say i get at least 90-95% of the filler out.

I think I personally wouldn't mind a bit of original material here and there, if it means a more fluid transition. Because of the audio alone; it's the jumps in music that highlight any rough cut, and I can imagine how hard it is to cut around audio to make it match.

I wouldn't mind a bit of original material either. For example: when talking about law's flashback, there is a short glimpse of Tsuru's crew in the anime. In the manga it is just one panel showing her commanders (I guess), in the Anime her entire fleet is shown. I wouldn't mind this additional content. Now I don't need to watch those women run around for 5 minutes, but just learning that Tsuru's entire fleet is female should be enough.

EDIT: I am just now watching the marineford episodes. There are sometimes some sound errors between scenes, But I don't know if it is because I am watching on the VLC player.

I'm using MPC+k-lite codec pack and don't notice them.
