Season 2's character list is kind of underwhelming barring Julia and Negan.

Anna, Lei, and Julia are all beloved characters in the series that Harada kept getting harassed about everywhere. I'd say those three are pretty much bringing the hype for this bundle.

Well, his importance to the story and character dignity has been since T5.

As much as characters have become 'comedic side characters' in Tekken, who the hell WANTS to be in the main plot?

IT'S THE MISHIMA DICK MEASURING SHOW! Starring The Three Mishimas!

    Guest Starring:
    Nina Williams:
The Assassin Who Really Wishes She Wasn't Here Right Now But Is Contractually Obligated To Be!
    Lars Alexandersson:
A Decent Main Character Who Deserves A Way Better Plot!
    Alisa Bosconovitch:
    His Waifu!

AND DON'T FORGET EVERYONE'S FAVORITE UNWILLING PARTICIPANT: Lee Chaolan!

    Lee Chaolan:
"Oh my god! I have a high caliber rifle designed to kill Mishimas! For the love of me, please kill them! I don't care who does it! Lars? Alisa? Nina? Anna? Someone?!? PLEASE! I made this company just to avoid them, but they just won't GO AWAY!!!"

Right about the time Law became a perpetually broke nobody.

Probably after she saw her mother go into business as a pro wrestler.

And it's sad, too. His T4 ending was good and poignant....then next game, he's "DURRR STRONGEST IN UNIVERSE!".

Though I suppose others can say Harada has generally butchered his characters over time, anyways.

What they do to him in his Tekken 7/And Panda's ending though is straight up straw breaking the camel's back.

If I wanted to watch a character be pissed on in their own ending I go back and watch Reptile getting his shit pushed in by Shinnok in MK4.

It's like Harada has done a lot for Tekken, and the gameplay aspects are still great. But between the deterioration of character personality and motives and the increasing animezation, I wish someone else could replace him for story designer.

Some updates. First, an image video for Leroy Smith:

    The return of Ganryu:

And lastly, another brand-new character, a large, scary man from Thailand:
