It seems that the purpose of this ruling is to give parliament a chance to create a longer term plan before initiating the leave. A hard Brexit would certainly have many detrimental effects on the UK and world economy, but now it seems like it could get overruled entirely or at least replaced with a more reasonable renegotiation of terms with the EU. We'll see.

Yes i gather alot of people seem to put a lot of stock into what a comedy show states.

I suppose it is the live action version of south park in that regard.

In fact the progestin isn't new. It even predates depo-prevera (the current standard injection contraceptive).

Now, this isn't to say I've seen the study to say how frequent the psychological side effects are, but at least based on what's been reported about this, it is kind of odd that they would go out of their way to say the side effects are too serious to continue it when this is something that's been known about this drug class for years.
I'm more concerned about the fertility issues. Out of 320 men, 8 were infertile for over a year, and one may now be sterile.

Also a possible side effect of Depo Prevera, where it can take close to a year on average as an adverse effect for women to regain fertility after the injection (although generally it works well enough that it only lasts for three months which seems to be the case for this particular regimen). The one mentioned in that article you posted also had a "partial recovery", whatever that may be.

No medications come without some possibility of side effects, and if this is the main one to worry about, given the sample size and number of patients affected, I'd say that it's still worth a shot.

Not really. In fact, people putting it on a pedestal really bothered John Stewart

Yes, but that was mostly because the mainstream media collectively gave up on fact checking. He was disgusted to see CNN and even MSNBC sink to Fox level reporting on a regular basis.

The Daily Show was still very careful about fact checking and retracting inaccurate stories.

but they haven't formally started the leaving process, and neither has anything been done formally by the other side.
but more importantly, the court judgement only says the that parliament has to decide whether to initiate the leaving process,it can't be done by the government.
they Government has said they will appeal to the Supreme court, but there is also the option of going to the aprliament, the majority of which will most likely "agree to the will of the people".
the courts have no opinion on the Brexit itself,as it is a "political issue",just the procedure
that which cannot be stopped:inherited will,a man's dream, and the flow of time.as long as man continues to seek out the answer to freedom, these things shall never be stopped.-PK Gol D. Roger

"Once they decided what the article was going to be about, it didn't matter what the facts were," said Clare, adding that Ederly was "blind to the facts" and that she painted Eramo as the villain because the university official represented an "easy target."
This has been a problem for some rape stories as of late. We do need to help victims come forward and seek justice, but we also need to remember that the targets of false accusations are also victims.

For a celebrity/politician like Donald Trump or Bill Clinton, it makes sense to report on allegations that have yet to be proven. Reporting on an unproven allegation about a college kid can easily ruin that person's life, though.

Bill doesn't brag about sex constantly, yeah. The allegations are much more believable for Trump.

Al-Qaueda threatens to attack U.S. cities a day before the election.

    http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/al-qaeda-pl...ews&yptr=yahoo

As is routine the threats are being examined to see if they're credible but expect security to be on higher alert around that time anyway.

    Let me fix that....
The march was largely peaceful, except of the calls for Ahok's death.

Yeah, it was relatively peaceful (at first). Which was a surprise for all of us since this was mostly being piggy-backed by right-wing religious extremists. Put simply, the root of this stuff happening is due to a high-stakes election in the capital next year, and Ahok the front-runner is non-muslim. Just like you guys have your own religious nutjobs on the right, we have some of our own to deal with too.

The fact that he's non-muslim is unacceptable for these religious zealots. And let me tell you, if you read the comments section on our local news portals (especially Kompas) a lot of us really want these guys outlawed given their bigoted messages. Another thing, people call Ahok an asshole with a mouth as bad as Donald's, except the difference between him and the latteris that the former actually knows how to run an office, whereas the latter is just a delusional sexist, racist, and bigoted blowhard.

The results of Ahok's rule in the capital is extremely noticeable. It also helps that he's just continuing our President's work before he rose to his current position. He was formerly his deputy. The capital's election is also basically an affirmation of our President's rule. If Ahok, his former deputy wins, then that basically strengthens his position as President. It also paves Ahok a clear path to vice-presidency then presidency.

Ahok is currently one of the most popular politicians for his tell-it-like-it-is attitude, which is why some of the attacks aimed at him is outrageous, but luckily, Jakarta's citizens aren't that stupid. Especially the college-educated middle class.

I've just heard about this in recent days but can someone tell me what the hell is going on in South Korea?! Their president has an approval rating of like "5%" (not kidding) and is being impeached because she's accused of being under the influence of other people?
