Well, today's parliamentary elections in Georgia.
As a child I imagined my first vote being way better as in actually being able to choose something decent. I was a dreamer, I guess.

Historically people have been against everything in particular science, as such the idea people could oppose things designed to prevent or cure illnesses or diseases shouldn't shock you.

He is Brazilian and we had a Vaccine Rebellion in 1904. Although there were valid reasons to the population to be angry, at school it was taught to me as people back then were very stupid. So it can be jarring to see some people in modern US thinking like that about vaccination.

We have those here too. Ours combine stupidity with anti-US sentiments.

Honestly, I've felt the same way for a long time, but now having friends who have kids and who tell their side of the story, I get it.

Imagine yourself the parent of a bubbly, happy, 1-year-old baby boy, who has been growing and reaching all his milestones perfectly, and has developed quite an impressive vocabulary for his age.

Then, imagine you took him in to the doctor for his 1-year shots. After a few days he gets sick, he's cranky, he's crying nonstop, he's acting completely out of character. As time goes on, he becomes less responsive to you and your partner. He's losing his vocabulary, his development is at a complete standstill and it's like you have a completely different child.

This is what a friend experienced with her son, and she came to a logical conclusion that the vaccines affected her son, who is now diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum.

Her case isn't unique. I concluded that parents who have experienced this with their children after them receiving vaccines have legitimate concerns.

There's nothing logical about that conclusion even in of itself.
And its been through and through debunked.
Not to mention the consequences of not doing it is to potentially reintroduce into common circulation horrible diseases from the days when North America was still a third world type place. Fun stuff like Measles and Polio.
Well that outside of those same diseases being introduced into your own kids in the first place.

Perhaps to you as an observer, but what I'm saying that if a parent, who spends every waking hour watching over their baby, watches their child rapidly deteriorate after receiving vaccines and all other medical avenues have been explored without any explanation as to why this is happening, then yes it makes sense to feel suspicious of vaccines. I'm not sure I completely agree with either side, but after this teacher friend of mine thoroughly explained in painful detail about what she experienced with her son, I feel that their concerns are valid as a parent.

The reason why I'm posting this is because of the bad reputation anti-vaxxers have, like they're all complete nut jobs. I just want people to take a step back and understand why some people might be against vaccines. They're not all paranoid, anti-technology crazy people. Sometimes they're parents who have experienced hell on earth with their loved ones and simply have no explanation as to why.

A healthy reaction to that would be, for example, to then dedicate oneself to the cause of trying to find out what the explanation is, if they're so concerned with the 'why'.

An unhealthy reaction is feeling so unable to cope without *something* to blame that they latch onto something that never had any evidence for being a cause in the first place, and has been thoroughly, thoroughly debunked as a cause regardless. Correlation has nothing to do with causation; that's the most basic tenet of statistics. I can understand where you're coming from, to a degree, inasmuch as saying that you understand why they want an explanation. Saying it's reasonable for them to latch onto vaccines as being that explanation, though, is ridiculous.

    1. The Aryans were AMAZING SUPER GENIUS IDEAL HUMANS, rather than guys who probably ate horse jerky and lived in yurts mostly.
    2. The "Nordic" people of Europe were the purest true descendents of the Aryans.

Among the truest descendents of the Aryans ironically (genetics wise) ....are Russians, Ukrainians, and Poles lolll. So Hitler was uh....an idiot basically.
Well iran basicly means land of aryans and that gave russia and britain something to attack iran and change the shah to his son that made shah look like puppet for people that lead to islamic republic
When i put history like this its funny especially irans history caused its linked to europe and asia and part of africa
Before one piece i always had a history book in my hand
