It's always good to remember that the people who make up these MRA type things are rarely actually the machismo Bubba's.

Instead they're made up of that percent of the male nerd/outcast population that decided to venerate the guy sticking their head in the toilet.

Hmmmm that may explain why he wants rape to be legal on private property.

I hate guys like this. When someone steals your identity and gets you in legal trouble with it, sometimes it can take years to get it back and completely clear up the whole mess. At the same time though I can admire the intelligence, wits, and sheer balls these people have to utilize those talents to get what they want. It's what makes a film like 'Catch Me If You Can' so good. Too bad they're using those talents to be such assholes.

This has been all over the news for the last day or so.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/05/africa...ane-explosion/

To sum it all up a Somali terrorist brought a bomb onto a plane and exploded it, but instead of the whole plane going up in flames it blew a hole in the side of the plane and he was sucked through it. The plane then made an emergency landing and everyone else was alright, besides 2 injuries.

I'm sorry but that's kinda funny.

Pretty fucking ballsy move by NK, wonder if anything will actually come of it though besides the same old song and dance from the international community.

Alright so this has been happening in Russia for quite sometime now and then this happened

Foreign banks lending to local banks trusting shady governments never works out when the major problems aren't even in the reforms agenda yet. Looks like a "Greece" in progress but of course might take a longer time to react but with the amount of wars Putin is waging, it might be bad if it continues. Adding to the misery, the oil prices aren't looking good either

It will be much worse than Greece on every level.

you know how we talk about ''there is a bigger chance to get hit by lightning'' about things that have astronomically small chances off occuring? This is truly the next level off that. R.I.P to the victim, but this is just so absurd.

It's probably the wierdest story I've heard, since I read a few weeks ago that a man flinged a sock full off poo in a woman's face ( 3 years ago ).

Let me just say that these poor men who are "pick-up artists" (shitty ones at that, no high value woman is falling for these tricks) do not understand how life or how people work. And where there's elements of truth to their beliefs the whole thing is distorted into this weird obtusely negative outlook on life and women especially. No one should ever be hurt like that. Very not cool.

Honestly I'm going to blame the porn industry mostly for this mindset and if we're not careful it's only going to get worse. Not like statements like this ever helped anyone really but in my opinion we as a human race need to be a lot more careful about what we feed our minds. Life was never this guarantee that everything's going to be smooth all of the time but we can do certain things to make our own individual lives better. I understand that the great libido is an important motivator, maybe the most important motivator to us. But I think we're also greedy. Why can't we strive for both fulfilling sex lives as well as responsibility to our fellow humans? We're so close to another golden age we just have to iron out some of the kinks.

I don't know, this debate is probably tired but it gets me sometimes when I think about how much pressure it seems like everyone's under. Life goes on whether you're the biggest stud or the most hopeless nerd.

True happiness should be the goal. And that can only come with self-acceptance.

I'm wondering what exactly constitutes a Golden Age because even during that time the Roman Empire was waging war and expanding its territories, just at a 'lesser' pace. Also, seeing as how this was a comparatively small part of the world when compared to the rest I'm wondering are Golden Ages determined by single entities?

By that definition America has been in its Golden Age for a while now.

And the Renaissance? That's a couple centuries of "enlightenment", discovery, and cultural movement. Not that they weren't a "good" few centuries but after hundreds of years you can point out progress for almost any time period in human history. This was just particularly helped along by increased globalization and romanticized later by scholars. But let's ignore the witch hunts and religious wars during this Golden Age...

Also, you seem to be correlating keeping your libido in check with bringing about a Golden Age and I really just don't understand that given human history and what you call our previous Golden Ages.

The Renaissance is a retrospective label. No one at the time was like "Gosh this is a golden age and we're changing history!".
Pax Romana wasn't really a golden age, it was just a relatively peaceful period in Roman history, they avoided civil wars mostly is all (which was a huge problem for Rome). There were still wars and conquest with outside powers and tribes.
