Looks like the new episode leaked... technically.

Adult Swim. Gotta love them sometimes.

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Finished it. It's one of the weaker episodes(It was a whole episode of eveyone watching TV), but the focus on the family dynamic was the best so far. That scene where it unexpectedly breaks into continuity for a rather heartwarming moment was nice.

    I'm with Hiroy.

The B Plot (or was it the A plot?) with Jerry/Summer/Beth was the only thing really worth watching. The improve commercials felt odd and unneeded. From what I seen most didn't care for the episode, but then I've seen some post online where people want this to be a Treehouse of a Horror thing giving us commercial episodes every year. I don't know if I want that.

Also the Fake Door segment, I wasn't expecting to like it, but it got a laugh out of me haha.

I dunno. I thought most of the TV skits were pretty great (though, yes, some did miss the mark). The Lorenzo Music/Bill Murray bit was awesome.

I would not have minded it too much if the dialogue for Rick was a little more sensible. Sometimes he would switch the channels like he knows what exactly he's switching to. It honestly sort of threw off the idea that they were really just watching random crap on TV.

Aside that, the commercials were a hit or miss. Usually a hit whenever I look up certian skits on Google. Ants in Eyes Johnson, lol

I liked the commercials a lot. Some were definitely better than others, but they all worked as gags on the implications of infinite universes. It's like the Library of Babel; among those channels, there has to be one where they describe the cure to cancer in detail as it applies to our world and there must also necessarily be one where hamsters live in people's butts.

The ending was so random but so awesome. Getting buff to beat up the f**king devil, now that's hardcore.

Also: figures Jerry would be in over his head on Pluto.

It's funny that the sign changes right before he gets beaten to a pulp.

Could be a intentional or a last minute edit to say "Fags" instead of "You" and they missed a frame or two.

With how good this show is with continuity, I wish they left Rick and Summer like that part of the plot for the next episode.

So yeah, Close Encounters of the Rick-Kind was pretty amazing. This has become my favorite show by far this year.

    This episode was pretty genius:

    Spoiler:
Especially when you realize how much sense it makes for Evil Morty to have been in control the whole time. Dude not only spent his time killing Ricks (something that makes sense for a Morty versed in the true ways of Rick), but also showed that he was capable of stealing their intelligence, which tells us how he was able to pull off his scheme.

I know they were corny, but I couldn't but giggle at the Rick puns. Also:

"it's not laughing at your dumb jokes, that's just a random sound it makes every 10 seconds"

I'm so glad I found this wonderful show when it was still young. It's still young, but it's so excellent. This episode was just excellent.

Yeah, this show has come pretty far pretty fast from its first couple episodes.

The craziest part I think is that even this early in it actually has continuity... whereas most shows of this sort would typically be very much stand alone never mentioned again sorts of things.
