Honestly, terrible though the Quinzis may be, Luchadore Quinzi and James are almost enough to entirely switch my sympathy to the Vandenreich.
Because not only only do they have unique designs, the have honest to god endearing, entertaining personalities. Fuck off Vizard Renji, I'm ten times more invested in Luchadore quinzi than you, you collosal bore.

BTW, was I the only one confusing Mohawk shinigami Renji for Mohawk Quinzi Renji?
Mmmh, I kind of forgot there was a Bleach chapter until I saw your post. So yeah, I'm still with the point I made last week about those two being awesome, I honestly love them. It looks like we may finally have a decent fight this arc.

Hey guys, remember Sasuke's hawk summon?

No? Neiter does Kisi, since he'd rather have Sasuke fly on Sai's ink bird.

Well, at least Sai did something; now he can disappear again for the next 40 chapters.
"Interestingly enough, the gods of the Disc have never bothered much about judging the souls of the dead, and so people only go to hell if that's where they think they deserve to go. Which they won't do if they don't know about it. This explains why it is important to shoot missionaries on sight."

No I'm referring to that one "cool" shinigami captain with close to no personality.

That's not exactly helping the identification process.

    >McBain clip here<

All joking aside, for a second I really did think Bazz B was turning on his allies, when Mask's stomp got stopped.

And lol, Tatoo Ichigo just kept slipping in an out of conciousness this chapter.

It would help if you also described his face.

    It's this douchebag, right?

    Hidden:

Honestly, I didn't even register that he has a mohawk. I guess cause it's not as pronounced as Quinzihawk's.

    That's a Fauxhawk, guys.

There. Now you have a word to identify him by.

"I'm the captain of the sleeveless!" was hilarious though. So random.

I find it baffling how so much time was spent on these interchangeable vice captains during the "Winter" war, and yet I remember absolutely nothing about them.

I once made a game of counting how many actual objects were drawn in a Bleach chapter, apart from characters and non-interactive backgrounds.

The results were as depressing as you might think. Not only is the amount of objects incredibly sparse, but they're all incredibly basic; tables, drawers, etc. Bleach feels like it takes place on the set of Lars von Triers Dogville; its a totally empty void of a world.

The current arc is a good example. Does anyone remember that this is supposed to be an all out war? This is supposed to be an intense clash between soul society and the entire Vandenreich but...the place seems borderline deserted. Battles occur when people walk casually around the white rubble, and have random encounters. Theres no backdrop of shinigami and vandenreich soldiers clashing, theres JUST one on ones.

Don't forget the amazing complexity of the Hougyoku, or a sphere within a cube!!
