Default Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus

Looks like we'll be getting one more entry into the Ratchet & Clank Future gameplay style before the PS3 bows out to the next generation. The accompanying videos to this IGN article look very promising! I wonder who the female talking over the trailer is? Likely the true main villain. The escaped criminal twins mentioned in the article sound like they'll take on a role similar to Vorselon or the Valkyrie sisters from the previous games.

I wonder if Clank will still have his Time powers.

Is this a full on Ratchet and Clank game? I mean it's only 29.99 I can't help but feel there will be a catch. I'm still skeptical.

I've heard its longer than Quest for Booty/ Full Frontal but not as long as Crack in Time.

Yep, the community manager for Insomniac confirmed this. In his exact words, "much much larger than say Q4B and FFA."

A Crack in Time always felt like a particularly short R&C game, but that might be due to a large chunk of the gameplay being devoted to the Clank puzzles. I'll go with "cautiously optimistic" for this game.

What's going on, Insomniac? You follow up the second best entry in your franchise (Up Your Arsenal takes first) with a toned down co-op game then a tower defense game? This certainly seems like a step back in the right direction...but then there's that price tag. Obviously, not a great sign for the length of the game.

It's longer than Quest 4 Booty and Full Frontal. (see the two posts above yours)

I know. Half price means that it's not gonna be THAT long, though. I mean, the main reason I put Crack in Time below Up Your Arsenal is because it also felt too short.

Is this the best innuendo they could think?

Is it even an innuendo? Not all R&C subtitles are innuendos.

The article in the original post claims that the working title was "Into the Nether Regions". Speaking of innuendos, that's something about this series I've never understood-- We're getting titles like "Quest for Booty" and "Size Matters" for what is generally a kid friendly franchise. I mean, hasn't the ESRB re-rated every one of the older games as E10+?

I don't think the ESRB is that strict on these types of light hearted innuendos.

Wasn't A Crack In Time supposed to be called Clock Blockers?

    That would've been incredible.

As much as it might sound like Bobjr is joking...he isn't.

That's just it though. Even when the older games were rated T, they were still (mostly) innocent fare. The titles suggest otherwise.
