Does that mean there are 4 Zhao commanders against Ou Hon and Akou? I still believe that if anyone dies from there it will be Gaku Ei.

I am glad to see there is another believer of the Father of the North!, Don't lose your cool Heki-bro, no need to rush! This guy is jokes.

Heki the man. One day, he might rival even the likes of Parakewl.

I told you even his face looks like a joke from the start. I am sure he will do some good thing in the end, but I just cant see this guy going any further in rankings. Where is the needed wit for that and what not. I can however see him maybe joining as Shin's underling in the future? And thus he gets some spot light and what not

Don't be fooled by him being portrayed as a simpleton with no restraint and control over his emotions.

Even the heavy losses he had in 3rd day are part of his strategy.

What's more, I'm willing to bet that Heki is the one who is going to kill Rozo.

I think that Rozo should be saved for Baijo. Baijo has his previous "mountain dweller savage" form, and Rozo was boasting about how they were the original mountain tribes.

Heki, given the recent development with the orphan is getting ready to adopt. Then what would Yo Tan Wa do? I think she might do like Tou against the Wei Fire Dragons, and she might be bait.

Of course Heki killing Rozo would be neat as well.

Yotanwa could beat Rozo and add Quanrong to her collection of tribes. Might seem like they already went too far for any alliance, but I've no reason to think Qin mountain tribes hated each other any less before getting united under her.

Tajifu hasn't done much in this campaign, though. And where the hell is Rankai?

I agree that there should be no issue with adding Quanrong to the tribes under Yo Tan Wa, but unless that city becomes part of Qin, then how would that work? Not to mention, I only see Quanrong troops surrendering after most of their forces have been decimated.

I am still hoping for Heki vs Orphan.

God I hope not, Orphan would completely destroy him Heki would kill him too fast, wouldn't be interesting.

That's why Yo Tan Wa will be bait. The power of love runs supreme.

I don't know, kinda boring. I appreciate a flesh out of interesting characters, though. Not much more to say. The chapter was quite uneventful. Enemy-general-hype-chapter.

Thatīs always been a problem in Kingdom, random opponents pop up who suddenly are as strong or stronger than previous guys but we have never heard of them...

Thatīs one thing Oda does really well and most authors, not only Hara, do not.

Both the scope and the extent of Kingdom go much deeper than One Piece. We are in chapter 541 and invasion of Zhao is only at beginning stage. There should be 5 more to go(if Kantan to fall in this campaign at all) after this and not all them will be successful in the initial attempts. Then there should be multiple side campaigns under the main one. There are so many battles left in this story that Hara simply can't afford to sketch every strong antagonist in details any more.I think we have to accept two types of characters in the story, master and pawn.Hara will develop the master type(likes of Riboku,Gohomei,Karin and their immediate subordinates in most cases) while regarding the pawn type, he will simply take the liberties as he sees fitting in the narretive.I believe this the direction the story is heading...
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”

Ehm, yes he can. It does not take much to do it but in turn gives you the sense of a whole world and also a sense of anticipation for the audience. Why did we know about Kaidou and Big Mom 500 chapters before their introduction? Why did Oda spent half a chapter introducing Whitebeard 400 chapters before he actually became relevant? Itīs so that the audience can actually put things together and comprehend the importance and the role such characters play in teh grand scheme of things.
Even before character introductions, you get small pieces of information about them which helps immensely to appreciate when they get actually introduced.

What Hara has always been doing is shoehorning apparently strong guys whenever he needs them instead of building them up, hence most characters do not really have distinctive features and join the blurry number of apparent strong people.

Thatīs not something taht comes from the scope of the story (and i do not agree with Kingdomīs scope being greater considering how little screentime other characters besides Qin actually get) but itīs simply lazy.
Itīs not something recent either (so the word anymore is simply misplaced), this is something he has done since day one. He introduces the concept of Qinīs six generals and says Ouki was a member.
When he introduces someone who is supposed to be strong, suddenly the three great heavens of zhao pop up, or weiīs fire dragons, even though we have never heard of such a thing before, hence the title seems meaningless and empty.
And after that, whenever he introduces someone new once again that we are supposed to take seriously, he uses previously introduced titles as comparison even though the titles themselves do not mean much to the audience since we never saw the implications and the scope of those titles.

Now compare that to Oda introducing Mihawk early on with the title of Shichibukai. You have seen his overwhelming power and then learn there are 6 more guys like him, hence whenever the title of Shichibukai is mentioned in the future, the audience immediately gets teh severity of the situation. The same can be said for Yonkou, Admirals, VAs, Yonkou commanders and so forth, because Oda actually takes time to build them up.

Hence most antagonists, after their role is over, become indistinct and join the huge amount of faceless and identityless characters. The only exceptions so far are the ones you mentioned, Riboku, Houken, Karin and Ri En. Even Gohoumei does not belong to them since he is indistinct as well while being another case of missed opportunity. Just one or two scenes of him mourning his father and aiming for revenge against Qin before his involvement in the coalition war would have given his character a context and the audience a sense of anticipation. And when he gets revealed in the coalition war as the wei commander, the audienceīs involvement would go beyond "another guy who is trying to erase Qin because Riboku convinced him".

Hara mentioned Rinshoujo a long time ago and ofc he has skilled underlings, i dont know why you are complaining. Also the various kingdom militaries seem to dedicate generals to certain fronts so seeing someone who has been overseeing the zhao yan front for the first time wouldnt be a stretch.

Watch out, we have an apologist here.

I remember Rinshoujo was mentioned, but that's really it. The biggest problem in Hara-hyping is that it's mostly done through words of a third person. Like in this chapter where we have some random soldiers filling us in, right before the act. It's a case of telling instead of showing. It wouldn't be much of an issue if it wasn't the n-th time this has happened.

I am complaining because these guys have no identity, they are simply "strong guys number 95 and 96" we could care less about.

The fact that strong people exist is no surprise, so your argument/statement makes no sense really, the problem is without the necessary build-up, these guys are just there to fill the space.
Yan will have strong guys, Han will have them and so forth, we do not know about their existence at this point though.
