Guys, I really don't think you should feel bad if you don't get nominated or don't win an award. I mean, I recognize that you WILL feel bad, so do I. BUT, let's remember how open and accepting an environment this is, and that very few of us are actually over- or under-appreciated.

Yeah, you're right. It's just an award show for fun anyway. But regardless, being nominated at least for the stuff you do would still be pretty cool. Anyways, the categories that I'm really waiting for are the "creativity" ones! :D

Just noticed these were up again. So here's a question: Why do we still have most one piece knowledgeable? I mean, it just seems unfair when Greg is going to dominate it every year (or are we exempting him now). Especially now since he was on TV for this twice and actually beat the editors with One Piece trivia

As usual, I'm staying out of the process. These awards are always fun to watch, though. They're a good reminder of why I stick to this place. There's a great lighthearted vibe around here, because no matter how serious we might get, we're all together because of some magical pirate.

The awards showcase the best of the best of this effect. It's like reading the titles of songs scrolling over selected clips of the Arlong Park orchestra in an overly long infomercial. The victors will be the proud few highlighted in yellow that they choose to play for a few fleeting moments to entice the viewers into paying for a collection of the music they've already heard. But, oh, how they were hits for a reason!

You know. I used to nominate KiShiDo for Most Indecisive Member. Every year. Without fault. And it should have been the same this year. But when the time for Awards came, I came to the realization that... I can't.
Instead I liked how determined and unwavering he was in his support of Sanji - and surprise-surprise - Kinemon. This year he was the the kind of fan you could look up to. I mean, he even wrote a Kinemon song! How unironically cool is that?

So. I'm sorry, KiShiDo. Instead of Most Indecisive I will vote for you as The Most Dedicated 2012.
