We've put ideas on the table, we don't know what those ideas are, but we put the mystery boxes on the table and they're perty

Well, the conservative narrative is going to be about ANGRY AND UNSTABLE Joe Biden came across while how stately and sophisticated Ryan was by comparison.

    Honesty. Really, Paul?

    Really?

From a guy who spewed so many lies at the RNC that even Fox News couldn't cover them up?

I think Ryan gave up near the beginning and decided to sling as much random lies as he could and hope people are dumb enough to believe them.

His solutions. His extremely nebulous solutions that we'll deny the second they become politically inconvenient.

    Shorter Biden closing argument:

Who are you going to trust? Us or these lying assholes?

    Shorter Ryan:

Hey, come on. Vote for us! Please?

Chris Matthews scores a win for Ryan on the Benghazi issue. That says a lot about Matthews right there.

Based on what I know and what I've read, I'm pro-Israel.
Ah yes, this incredibly complex issue can be boiled down to pro and anti.
See here's the thing about these international kerfluffles. They are by nature nuanced, confusing, hard, and shit.
You can't complain about "hey I have a real basic understanding, lay off" because if that's all you have don't be talking about it in the first place. Simply put. It's not that we're disagreeing or whatever even, it's the outright errors.
I really don't want to get into a long drawn out debate though. I just posted generalities,
Then you have nothing to add on this topic.
but yes, I believe that Jerusalem should not be divided and we should not force Israel to return to 1967 borders.
Israel HAS to, seriously. At some point they HAVE to. Just like Turkey eventually has to pull it's military out of North Cyprus (and Syria as timing would have it) and the US has to leave Afghanistan.
The borders did not change, the new areas are literally by Israel's own admission military occupation zones. That's the whole point of them. They are not annexed territory, they are military occupations that were taken to add a buffer zone against Jordan, Syria and Egypt. They've become essentially frozen police atmospheres where Israel has now become concerned about the people who live in them (since it damn well isn't Jordan they're worried about in West Bank anymore).
These people don't have UN recognition, they're essentially stateless in some sense. This atmosphere just breeds more anger in them, look at Gaza.
And what's more ISRAEL ALREADY WENT BACK TO PRE-1967 BORDERS lol. Israel occupied the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, they gave it back.

Meanwhile the current Israeli administration does one of the dumbest awful little things. It refuses to really own up to stopping the settlers. Kooky super religious Israeli's who claim right to just move into Palestine and settle there. They're super hostile to both Palestianians and the other Israeli's, including the soldiers who try to protect them. Netanyahu's government has barely lifted a finger on this. Which more than anything complicates and fucks with attempt to negotiate the situation.
It's what Turkey's done for decades with North Cyprus.

No one actually involved in this shit is making "NO BORDER CHANGE". One state solution (Palestine actually becomes part of Israel), two state solution (Palestine gets independence), even two different forms of three state solution! (Gaza and West Bank get separate independence, or Jordan takes back West Bank and Egypt gets Gaza).

So tell me. What are you suggesting actually.
That Palestine remains forever a military occupation zone? Or Palestine becomes part of Israel and all the Palestinians including even the members of Hamas become citizens of Israel? These would "keep" the borders. Good idea? Do either of those sound good by any stretch of thought?

Please explain to me how style matters, CNN. I'll be waiting patiently.

How about talking about WHAT THEY SAID as opposed to HOW THEY SAID IT.

Tough talk and aggressive body language is NEVER a bonus if you're a Democrat only if you're a Republican. Look at how much the media hated Alan Grayson.

Eh that only works on people like Al Gore who come off like ELITIST DILETTANTES.

Suffice to say that is not an issue with Biden.

They'll still try to make that argument, though, as you said, it's hard to imagine that people will buy Joe Biden as an Elitist.

No one is going to say Biden won are they? They're just going to talk about how aggressive he was and ryan was not.
