Only in the young and inexperienced is it just a mere copying tool. Any Uchiha (and that includes Naruto... and eventually I will reveal Sakura is also Sasuke's cousin) can unlock the full potential of getting around corners I've written the characters into.

Oh, is there supposed to be a war going on? Slipped my mind. Surely a war would involve thousands of soldiers and an immense tragedy and cost in human lives. That might be too dark for the audience.
