Thread: DC/Marvel animated films thread

Voices matter that much? Shit, I liked it when they used Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Nathan Fillion, Alfred Molina, and other talented celebrity voice talent for the DCAU films. Don't get me wrong, I love the old JL animated series, but I definitely don't think going back to their voice cast will make a major difference.

Faye Valentine is EXACTLY how I imagine her voice. There are others that sound alright (AA voice) but not exactly what I imagined.

I liked most of DC/Marvel animated movies so far, but my favorite has to be "The Batman VS Dracula"
    Weird and proud of it!

    That new trailer looks stellar.

I just saw Superman vs. The Elite a few days ago and it was good... but the weird art style kinda turned me off. Superman's jaw and torso were so huge that he looked obese at times. Best part was the totally nuts opening credit sequence and the final battle.

    Chimichangas anyone?
That's not animated. It's for the comic.

Awesome. Not only is it a great idea for a movie it gives me hope for a blackest night or Sinestro corps war film.

Who needs live action DC anyways?

    It's Son of Batman.

That's a sucker's bet. Ra Al-Ghul does anything to escape death. Remember in Batman Beyond when he continued his immortality by taking over the body of his daughter, in which he pretended to be his daughter and kissed Bruce to gain his trust.

Trying to hype RA'S AL-GHUL IS DEAAAAAAD is sort of stupid when the character's gimmick revolves around his ability to tell the grim reaper to fuck off.

Trying to hype anything comic related by saying ITS DEAAAAAD falls flat for anyone with cursory knowledge of the medium. At best they'll think of something clever explaining it, at worst they'll get Superboy to punch reality really really hard .

Deathstroke sounded like Batman/Kevin Conroy. It's going to be hard watching the Batman/Deathstroke fight figuring out who's talking.

But awwww, widdle Damian. This looks good.
