    Neji's Lesson from Part 1.

    Hidden:
Fast forward to Part 2 and we find out that not only did Naruto turn out be a Child of Destiny but his destiny was literally shaped by someone else.

    Hidden:
A spirit that shaped previous generations before him.

    Hidden:
    Destiny.

    Hidden:

If Neji had lived he to see all of this he would have learned that if someone's chakra is reincarnated inside of you and you're the Child of Prophecy, your destiny can be pretty much determined by someone else. Maybe it's good he died (though anticlimactically) so he wouldn't be around for that final nail in the coffin of the "hard work will get you where you are" theme.

Buuuut in the interest of fairness it was hinted at in Part 1, that there were some parallels before...as far as the fighting goes. We just didn't know it was a destined generational reincarnation gig.

    Parallels? Sure, I'd buy it.

But from being the son of the fourth to being the son of a clan of super sealers in which it's a time honored tradition in the hidden leaf to be the host of the 9 tails to being the reincarnation of a super being who was always predestined to have something to climb only to eventually reach the pinnacle of power? Ehhhhhh

Yeah, he pretty much had so many opportunities tailored specifically to him for the rest of his life it was nearly impossible, nay, impossible he wouldn't grow up to be some kind of super powerful nin.

    So...even Kishi doesn't like Sasuke

"I like Naruto too. And Choji, Lee... ...well actually I like all the characters." Mr. Kishimoto expresses his love for his characters. Only, he doesn't like Sasuke, the rival of the main character, very much he adds. "Cause he has given me a lot of trouble. He isnt ductile/obedient... ...that I had a hard time (writing him)"

I'm more interested in mythology behind shark people in Naruto
There's apparently two of them, so what's the deal here

^When there's a guy who can turn into a snake because of constant experiments and forbidden jutsus used on himself...I'm not surprised there are shark people. It was probably done through some forbidden jutsu with a permanent effect that only the most worthy or 'of age' members in their clan undergo.

There is a prequel telling their story.

We didn't *officially* know the fourth was his father until about a decade in. It wasn't even said explicitly in the Tsunade arc, where they were frequently compared as reminding her of him.

Everyone just sort of assumed it because it was obvious.

But even being the child of someone famous and strong would have been okay... till all the other crap piled on.

For the longest time the official explanation was he was the emergency deperation child picked because he was what was available. It wasn't until later that him being specially hand picked with a special bloodline as the designated tradion chosen and intended to host the Kyuubi. Hell, for a long time we assuemd he was the first one to ever do it, and as an emergency accident... and that it was awful that someone would *intentionally* do it to Gaara, that was monstrous.

Then later it turns out nope, his mom was host before him and all the villages have held tailed beasts generations and its totally not a thing.

And thats just the kyuubi retconning, not even getting into the late game reincarnation stuff.

Yeah, he just kept crapping on the original thesis more and more.

Good thing both Naruto and Sasuke survived. No more transmigration.

It's bad enough in One Piece that Luffy is the son of Dragon and his hat once belonged to Roger. It'd really be awful if it turned out Roger also had the Gum Gum fruit and no has bothered to mention it before now.

Careful what you say. It's still a decent possibility.

If Roger had the same fruit, SOMEONE would have mentioned it by now. be it Rayleigh, Whitebeard, Shanks or Sengoku... someone would have mentioned it.

Its enough that Luffy reminds them in personality.

(As is we dont even know if Roger had a fruit.)

Just keep repeating that, for the sake of us all.
