It's a pity Taisei and Yui had to go first, they were the best out of this latest bunch of failures. That said, it wouldn't surprise if Beast Children and TTS were to be axed in the near future, maybe for a new round after the double issues. The Dr Stone spinoff should end by then as well, so we might get a bigger round (especially if Neverland also ends).

Now that the publication year is over, what are you guys favourite new series in this last 12 months?

If I were to rank them it would go like this:
    1- Chainsawman
    2- Yui Kamio, Double Taisei
3- NeOlation, Hell Warden Higuma, Yozakura Family
4- Last Saiyuki, Samurai 8, Mitama SecuREIty
5- Beast Children, Tokyo Shinobi Squad

It goes without saying that Chainsawman is one of the most different new series in Jump in a while, and I am glad that it has managed to survive. Yui Kamio suffered from an identity crisis for its middle chapters, but I can say that I've enjoyed almost all of what it has thrown at the board, even if it didn't stick. Meanwhile, Double Taisei had one of the weirdest beginnings ever. It started out as a psycological exploration of a character with a double personality, but abandoned that angle after a volume or so and became a goofy shogi manga where the shogi doesn't really matter. Character interactions since the change have been really fun and the manga also managed to reach a satisfying conclusion.
Both Higuma and NeOlation were really solid battle shonen, though probably a bit too slow moving for their own good. Still, they had their good moments, specially with their flashback chapters. Yozakura has been really solid too, but mainly as a weekly read. Its episodic structure is almost like that of a gag manga (even though it's an action series), so we'll have to see how it develops. It has gotten a colour page already, though. That might mean it has found an audience.
Mitama is silly, but it does get a laugh out of me from time to time so I am fine with it. Saiyuki had some good ideas but it got too caught up in exposition dumps at the beginning, its best moments came when it was too late. Samurai 8 also has some wonky exposition and it hasn't managed to grab me. It's going to stick around for a while, though, so it has a chance to improve. TSS started promising, but it hasn't done anything noteworthy, while Beast Children has stiff arc and doesn't manage to differentiate itself from other sport series with a similar premise.

I can’t seriously vote as I didn’t follow all of them.

But I kept by their side to their end: saiyuki and higuma.
Want to see grow and continue: chainsaw man and the yosakuras
    Such a shame: neolation
Die in a fire: tokyo Shinobi squad
Kinda want you to die in a fire but I know it won’t happen until a strong batch of newbies displaces you, so it’s worthless to hate you: samurai 8
I resent you because your serialization rival died before you: yui let’s loose
    The rest: the rest

Honestly, I can't even bother to comment anymore. Besides Chainsaw-man, obviously, all of them were/are prety bad. I can't see any of these survive for much longer unless they catch one of the good series reaching their natural conclusion. Mitama does get a good laugh out of me from time to time, so it can stay. I am trying to like Samurai 8, but it isn't managing to catch my interest. I kind of dig Beast Children, but it doesn't seem to have much of a future.

I'll consider Chainsawman as part of the golden 2018 trio together with Jujutsu Kaisen + Actage and I'll try to forget about 2019 jump, since all the manga from this year were terrible. The embarassimg Samurai 8 failure is the best thing that happened in 2019, since it will serve as a warning sign to Shueisha and the entire manga industry. They won't foolishly try to heavily promote a garbage manga because of the mangaka's name value any more.

I would have liked to see more than two new series, since all the remaining manga that started in 2019 will inevitably get axed, they're all completely forgettable. I count Chainsawman as a 2018 manga since I don't care about Japanese publishing years.

I guess this round's theme is supposed to be sci-fi, which is cool, I'm placing my hopes on the first one mostly. These new series are the only things that could save 2019 for me somewhat, but I won't be overly optimistic about that.

They're ending all of them, but not at once. Yui Kamio and Double Taisei end in issue 52. The other 2 will end in the near future.
