Yeah, these latest 3 new series have just saved Soma's ass. And Yuragi a bit, too. Now Shokugeki no Soma can finish its conclusion arc in the shittiest way possible, but without being cancelled all of a sudden. Kinda like Bleach, even though Kubo still managed to screw that up too.

Honestly, everything above bottom 5 is just too hard to topple.

I don't care what people say. Kamio Yui was great.

I liked Kamio Yui quite a bit too. Specially the main guy, he's not your typical main character so I found him quite refreshing.
The last Saiyuki could go places, but so far it hasn't hooked me. I also don't see what it has in common with Journey to the West, but that's probably because I've never read it.

From the last batch, I really hope Chainsaw-man survives, but I know it's a strech. I like NeOlation's aesthetics, and Gokutei Hitoma has an interesting main protagonist, but they won't be missed too much.

The new one is from a shojo mangaka?

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Oh, is <something something> no Mago's mangaka, also illegal rare. Wasn't that one also a jump start (or was when the scanlators went for the newbies as well) about a Men in Black like agency for yokai?

I liked the artstyle, like <saiyuki something something> being so early 00's, this one being Shojo, and Chainsaw man being so itself lend them an interesting quality.

Isn't the author that guy who made that manga at Shonen Megazine that almost killed Shueisha?
