Well, weekly magazine usually keeps around 400 pages and monthly is around 900 pages. But, they can exceed those page limits (but, the cost will increase as well).

Apparently director of Gintama and Osamatsu said he would love to turn Samon-kun into a anime.

I'm really surprised that they didn't jump on that for serialization... I mean yeah the story was a little rough around the edges but it could've easily turned into something great. Maybe they just don't want a mecha manga in the current lineup. :( Still have some hope for Wonderful Wonder World or GOLD.. and maybe a polished up Million Kingdom. '~'

Not really surprised to hear that especially with the volumes being uncensored. That series has become a guilty pleasure of mine though... it's actually pretty funny.

It doesn't necessary mean the editors didn't choose it; it most likely mean that it didn't get good reception from the readers.

Yep. I really loved Wonderful Wonder World and Gold. That mangaka is supremely talented. Million Kingdom was a great surprise last summer. You're right, the manga needs polish but the oneshot built the base for a unique world and compelling story. I also enjoyed the oneshot Garden, from the mangaka that released Peach Pluck.

World trigger break isn't too shocking. This has been Ashihara's longest run without break for quite a while and he just finished up an arc too. Hopefully he'll be back soon.
