Maybe by the time the anime comes out, the manga will have crossed 80 chapter mark or something. But yea it seems like the timing for anime has changed.

Loving this weeks' top 5 with Haikyuu!! taking that top spot and Sesujii wo Pin!to breaking in; Mononofu first ranking is pretty good also and I see it is getting another color page next week so it seems to be doing very well.

Hinomaru Zumou collab with Kuroko caught me off-guard since Kuroko seemed done, with even the sidestory in Next ended already... but they're definitely just trying to attract more fans and generate more sales for Zumou using that massive Kuruko fanbase.

Gravuretry started on Issue 41, so it has 8 chapters (1 break). That's enough amount to put it in the official ranking.

That's what I suspected. What an amazing disaster. I haven't had a chance to read it yet probably don't want to now.

I thought it was pretty interesting series, but oh well. There are already plenty of ecchi series in YJ anyway.

Well, it might still have a chance... doesn't YJ give series a bit more time to establish themselve before canceling compared to WSJ? Speaking of ecchi, what'd you think of the one shot from E-Robot mangaka in the last issue of NEXT? I actually thought it was pretty good and I didn't like E-Robot at all.

And speaking of NEXT, I didn't really like Roggy mangaka's new one shot very much... kind of bored with Gintama/Sket Dance type premise, but the art has improved.

They do give little bit more time (but just LITTLE BIT). So, if Gravuretry doesn't improve its ranking, then it'll gone.

Both of them are not bad.

Oh man, both of those were very good as well! I was surprised that they didn't move with serialization after Wonderful Wonder World tbh, but GOLD was really great too. Hopefully that mangaka gets series running soon. Zippo was cool and I liked the art a lot... can't remember the last time Jump had a mech series either. Also... I didn't care for the art much but Million Kingdom had a very cool and well executed premise - could easily see that getting worked into a serialization at some point.

For me, Takuan to Batsu no Nichijou Enma-chou (the one shot which released on Issue 48) was best one shot I have ever read in Jump these past few years. The author has incredibly balanced three genres (action, ecchi, and suspense) within this less than 50 pages work, the heroine was very cute, and the action scene was very well drawn. I wonder if the author is really a newbie because it is so good work.

I really suspect why this one shot wasn't considered as one of GFC runner-ups for this year; if it was runner-up, then this one shot should be a winner.
