Zippo!! was really great. Yusaku Shibata has really improved in the narrative department. Eagerly awaiting it's serialization.

I liked Toteku, the monster surgeon one-shot. Enjoyable read.
I wish it was a serialization.

    Hopefully one day.

Are you talking about a surgeon who does surgery on monsters or a surgeon that is also a monster?

Did you have a chance to read a Million Kingdom from last month's Jump Next? Very imaginative, with some guidance and an editor it could be a solid serial.

Surgery on monsters. It's sort of like that Kurokuroku manga that got canned last year, but without the battles. Quite a bit gory though, he does things like rip his own lungs out to transplant to a patient, or graphic detail on heart surgery, etc.

Yeah, art needs to improve, but the story and execution was excellent.
A few issues I see are: the story was too complete, and doesn't seem expansive unless he takes the Gurren Lagann route. Another issue would be the story not very compatible with Shounen Jump audience. Aesthetically a shounen manga, but theme and plot seems straight out of Sci-fi shorts on monthly Afternoon.

I'm suprised that Devilyman will have its first volume coming out soon/has come out.
How about Sesuji wo pin? Doesn't it have already more chapters than Devilyman?

Even Lady justice volume 1 is coming out. And that series started later than sesuji wo pin.

Don't know. That question is same as asking why Bleach released new volume in a month later.

Let me ask yall as one piece fans

Does it irritate yall when dumbasses say

"One piece does poor outside japan"

I find it annoying considering has 65+million in WW and will continue to increase but people think that America = the world

It's an incorrect statement but doesn't irritate me. Possibly because I don't hear that too often.

After many years I´m finally updated with Gintama and I´m wondering if it was ever mentioned the manga is ending in the next year or so? Because the last couple arcs has been having very big changes and tying knots. (I know I should ask this on the Gintama topic but I´d prolly have to browse a lot of pages to see if someone else already asked/discussed this)
