Huh, wouldn't have thought that Keiji's color scheme would be Iron Man-ish.

I can't believe the Lock Up cover isn't a photo.

    It's not a photo, right?

So Smoking Gun's gonna be gone next issue. It's been around as long as I've been reading Grand Jump (which hasn't been nearly enough, as I keep missing issues), so it'll be shame to not see it around anymore. On the plus side, it's not super long, so I can justify volumes!

Ugh, when will the DB nostalgia wear off? But the next three are great choices, didn't expect Gintama to be that high. Haikyuu and Kuroko were surprising too, didn't think they had it in them, as well as Hikaru no Go.

Wow, I am so happy for One piece, Gintama and To Love-Ru. Gintama's top three placement is really surprsing and amazing. Thank you for all the useful posts, Kaizou.

It's scarcely nostalgia. Success is success for a reason, et cetera

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am under the impression that Naruto and Hunter x Hunter are quite big in Japan, I mean sure not as significant as Dragon Ball and One Piece but to see them barely making that list's top ten is kind of strange to me. Is Gintama (which I love and adore) that much bigger? I mean I don't think Gintama's sales are as impressive as those two, was that survey not comprehensive enough? Maybe the age of the respondents or maybe the people who buy Naruto and Hunter don't think they are that great? I know Bleach has dropped ranking and sales wise but these two have wider appeal and popularity bases seemingly. It would be very much appreciated if an informed person can clear that. Maybe Aohige, if that's not troubling?

different magazine polls will churn out different results..no big deal...but DB,One Piece and Slam Dunk will always be among top 5..

I think that it's an age thing, as Gintama has more "adult female" fans. It was in that weird youtube video that clasified the generations of people as fruits, and the "Kiwi" or something as in 20 30+ y/o women liked gintama more than any other series.
