I will never understand people being happy for something they hated ending.
Anyway, good marketing timing if the movie ends up being an epilogue of the manga.
I wonder how long it will be before Kishimoto's next manga.

The question is rather why they continue to read it.
Jump is full of successful young titles so Naruto ending won't really be similar as when Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk did.

Well, I guess some people don't need much to be happy.

Anyway, it could mean 3 new manga starting in about 5 weeks replacing Naruto and most likely Mitsukubi Condor and Yoakemono.

One of Motsukubi Condor and Yokaemono will survive this round. Don't forget that short series too. Judos and or Sporting Salt are going to tank. Sporting Salt is the most amateurish serialization I've ever seen.

oh there have been far worse works than sporting salt over the years, but yeah it's.... it's a creator's early work, so they'll grow miles from this point.

Glad to see Naruto ending, more because I feel it'll be satisfying to see it as a complete work than as this nebulous, never-ending thing. A hell of an accomplishment for Kishimoto, and it's absence will be felt.

Nah, both of them are going to get axed at the same round since there are absolutely no reason to keep those. The mini-series don't really take any part of making spot for new series.

Yeah I agree. Yoakemono had flashes of talent (it's done by a former Oda assistant I believe) but it hasn't caught on. Condor is worse than Hiro Mashima, if that's possible.

I'm hoping that Naruto ending soon gonna help World Trigger to get a more secure position and better rankings than usual around the 10th place. Maybe some of the votes that went to Naruto could go over there, so I hope. Well that and that Shounen Jump might try to promote WT more in hopes of it gaining more fans and grow in size in terms of selling volumes and stuff.

They are both former Oda assistants. Yokaemono's Art is incredible. And I don't know what you mean by Condor being worse than Mashima, because of the fanservice?

I like both Naruto and Sporting Salt. There. I said it.

It is blander than bland white toast. The characters are extremely simple, the world-building is very flat for a fantastical non-real setting, and there's no real weight behind anything that happens. Despite the transparent attempt to drum up interest by putting the female lead in a bikini, it feels like a manga written for an even younger audience than WSJ. I've worked on two of Mashima's short series (Monster Soul and Monster Hunter) and it reminds me of them in a very very bad way.

I'm with the others. Condor had glimpses of what could have been a servicable series, and I wanted to like it, but man it is the most generic fantasy, lacking in anything worthy of note. Which... yeah, like Hiro Mashima, but without the savvy marketability.
