They seem to be giving Koumon-sama a healthy amount of attention lately, which is basically all I could ask for. Also looking forward to the cover for Katsu Fuutarou. My Motomiya Hiroshi itch just can't get scratched enough in the wake of Bakumatsu Gurentai's conclusion in YJ.

.... It disturbs me how used I've become to Tsubasa's weird proportions.

Takahashi Tsutomu (author of Jiraishin, Sky High, Bakuon Rettou, and Sidooh) going to start a new series, called Nijigen Jumpin', in Issue 43 of Young Jump. This series going to focus on the manga industry.

It may not have been the first, but it was a fairly big hit that finished *very recently* in the same magazine. It's only been two years! And only a year since the anime ended.

Different magazines. Weekly Young Jack in not the Weekly Shonen Jack.

But Bakuman was pretty big all things considered so it's no wonder it has become sort of default manga about manga to people.

Is not the same magazine! Bakuman is from Weekly Shonen Jump, Nijigen Jumpin is from Weekly Young Jump!

It would be cool if the author explained how Weekly Young Jump works and the differences with the other magazines of the JUMP name.

I am not sure it is really the style of the author. The theme will probably be the only common point with Bakuman

Takahashi Tsutomu is well known for doing very dark seinen series. So, I wonder how the author going to do this series; I saw some part of pictures of new series and it looks fairly bright series (which is unusual for this author).

Not same. Bakuman is from Weekly Shounen Jump (shounen magazine) and the upcoming one is for Weekly Young Jump (seinen magazine).

No, it is just a promotional image for Shounen Jump's upcoming new project. Araki Hirohiko (author of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) and Amano Akira (author of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) also released the promotional image on that site as well.

Hi-fi Cluster was mediocre IMO. Some good ideas but the execution was pretty bad. I don't see much future for that one.
As for Judos, I find it better. The concept of the battle royale is simple but interesting enough. The art is good enough to show some interesting judo moves. But someone really needs to tell the mangaka that he is not funny. I know people have different senses of humor but I'm having a hard time believing that a lot of readers could find him funny. So IMO, he should stop trying to fit a joke in every pages and focus on depicting a cool battle royale.
