[Plus, the poor taste the Japanese readers display doesn't help that much either...]

Starting Mid-February or March we'll be back at it with full force.
    Thank you :)

Yes, I noticed Metallica Metalluca was a 100% rip-off of Hunter x Hunter in the instant I saw the introduction page of the history, then I saw more pages and my intuition was right.

lol @ KHR ... one spot lower and it would be in bottom five. KHR is extremely tedious at the moment but I hope they kill it soon.

Beelzebub first! Though it is both cover and color but still... =)

Almost perfect TOC but Naruto could be lower and Toriko little higher also Oumagadoki should be atleast mid-range because its just hysterical.

Interesting that Nurarihyon no Mago is still so low. There are better series out there so I don't really mind but it's already an established series so I wonder how it will be handled.

Glad Enigma is doing well it's one of the more entertaining newcomers. Now only switch Naruto with Toriko and it's almost perfect. Except from that persistent stain called Felch.

Medaka Box is doing pretty well.

Its normally a bottom 5 series, or close by.

Can see that Reborn's current arc isn't going down too well, same with Nurarihyon.

If it stays like that it will be probably canceled. It may be an established series, but that didn't stop them from doing the same with Psyren.

    Yeeeeeees!

Hokenshitsu no Shinigami got similar ratings back in the beginning, and eventually managed to climb up to a reasonably non-terrible position. It's never done great, and I doubt Oumagadoki will either, but if Shinigami managed to stick around for over a year, there's no reason Oumaga won't. Oumaga had a much stronger start too - Shinigami was pretty terrible for the first 15 chapters or so, before it switched to mostly pure comedy.

It was tanking for like months, and so the author hurried it up so that it could end. I doubt it was a suddent thing, he must've seen it coming.

Nurarihyon, on the other hand, has an anime, is in between arcs currently, and would just be awkward for everyone if it got canned. If it stays at the bottom for a couple months more, though...

Both Oumagadoki 2 and Enigma 1 aren't in the chart, which means they selled less then 32.143 volumes. So much for Enigma beeing popular, it was only pushed by WSJ. The first volumes of Toriko, Beelzebub, Bakuman and even shit like Ane Doki made it into the to 30 in their first week.

With enigma I don't think it's any indication of how popular it is. First of all it's a non-mainstream manga so it could take a while to catch on. Also it seems like Jump didn't print many for some reason, as it says in the newest chapter "Order it at your store if it's sold out." Seems odd though. It has been popular in the TOC, but generally they don't print a lot of the first volumes and they don't sell a lot until more of a fanbase is established. Most popular series didn't sell much in their first volume unless there were few strong mangas coming out that week or the author already had a big reputation.
