I heard similar critics for call of duty games and they are still the ones which sell the most...

I've been thinking of picking up Shaman King flowers, but I've been hurt by Takei before, should I?

I spoiled myself about the G8 and if they play an important part, I'm interested.

I read it whenever it updates but I would say it's not worth it unless you are a hardcore Shaman king fan.

Used to be, Shaman King was the first manga series that I followed weekly. Only spoilers and quick sumaries, before there was a scanlation team with it.

By that point I was pretty familiar with the WSJ anime, but manga was new. Shortly after I fell into Houshin Engi, FMA, Naruto, Death Note, and finaly, One Piece.

Did that new oneshot from Hitman Reborn's author run in Jump? Nemuri Netarou or something?

Yeah me too. It was the NA shonen jump and mainly the 4kids anime that got me into it. By the time I seriously dug into the manga, the enthusiasm waned.

Shaman King was totally the first manga I ever owned, almost ten years ago now ¬_¬

But yeah, Shaman King Flowers is worth it if you liked Shaman King. It's got a more cohesive plot so far in, I guess, and is definitely Takei's best series since his revival.

It's a shame for iGirl to be so low, as it's kinda turned out to be something special, but... Yeah Tokyo Wonder Boys and Stealth Symphony are kinda deserving of low positions

What's good about iShoujo? Granted, I've only skimmed over the first 3 chapters, but my impression of it is mainly 'that's a creepy girl controlling sexual fantasy app'. That's enough to make me turn a leery eye toward anybody who actually likes it.

The thing is that it changes main characters every three-four characters, while mantaining the same setting (so old chatacyer appear in new characters' arcs). The art is nice and the app part is funny, but I guess it's not well suited to Jump.
I do love Stealth Symphony though. And I still have hope about it staying with us for a while.

I find that interesting, the rotating main character. That done well can strengthen a series, like Zetman or Jojo's.
