Wow, Edison and World Trigger have some pretty nice covers, design-wise, and Cross Manage is never anything less than completely bloody gorgeous.

Kiruko's cover is okay, but I'm more curious about what that special "last thing Kiruko has to do" is that's gonna be revealed/in the volume or what not.

One hopes so. Unified graphic design sense is something so frequently lacking in Jump covers.

Indeed, I hope someone does a photoshop with all the covers once the serie is finished. it will be funny.

With some series the regular run covers are a mess of random ideas, scenes from chapters, and character shots, that in the end don't factor that much in the overal plot, usualy the Kanzenban or other releases post ending keep an unified theme. Compare original run Dragon Ball to Kanzenban Dragon Ball.

I thought the first chapter advertised it as having ~*two chapters every issue*~ (since yeah, 10 page chapters).

    Did he stop that?

some chapters are full size. but why is this a thing? the first volume debuts with its sister title World Trigger, so it hasn't affected anything...

I'm surprised by kuroko's standing, it's been pretty boring lately.

It is interesting that though spoilers such as full TOC require certain amount of time to come out even if spoilers of some series are already out. And sometimes, bottom spots show up (in English forums) even before the full TOC.

That's because 2ch Weekly Shounen Manga Board's Jump Survival Thread is where majority of early info comes from, a thread that's only concerned with the bottom.

    New Toriyama? Always welcomed!

I can't wait to see the disappointed eyes of really young manga readers in the West who expect some kind of new DB, though. I never got why people expected that in the first place.

Because the 11 year run of Dragonball is all they know. (Excuse me. the 7 year run of DBZ.) Most fans aren't even aware of Dr. Slump before it, or the numerous short 1 volume series he's done over the years.

Similarly, takehashi is mostly known for InuYasha now, with some Ranma... while Maison Ikkoku and Lum get seriously overlooked (Lum has never finished publishing stateside, and they've tried three different times.) and her one shots are totally unknown.

Or Alex Guiness being in Star Wars... Obi Wan Kenobi is all he's remembered for, despite his 40 year career before that.

It's just a case of their most popular thing overshadowing the entire rest of their work.
