Was it that cute metal-girl chapter?

This is also first ranking of Edison, and obviously it plummetted.

Rageworthy thought: The fact Edison got more votes than Cross Manage, even if it was the first chapter.
    No justice in the world.
Hmm, I thought Hungry Joker jumped because of the man-trap.

Edison...lol gee who would've thought it's second to bottom. RIGHT ABOVE CROSS MANAGE. Is this World Trigger's first real ranking as well?

If you consider chapter 8 as first rank then it is this week. Next week it has a clor page. But some series like stars or bulge had a similar start so it's best to wait another few weeks to see if it maintain these ranks.

except you don't, Kdom. 9th chapter is when it comes out of the protection period. First eight is protected.

not that we know this as fact, but sure why not.
its worth waiting longer anyway to get past the initial positive reception the first few chapters tend to grant titles anyway.

But most people consider that 8 chapter is the first one (it's even written this way in Bonney post). And since nobody knows how it really works I let it up to everyone own appreciation

i'd go with the flow on that too, but it was 5 weeks back in2007 and i bet itll be different again soon enough. theres jst no grounds for it as far as ive seen. we all hold too much stock in all this stuff. at least waiting longer we get a better long term image or something

    not... not that it matters...

It seems that World Trigger is doing fine for the moment.
A 3rd color page so soon suggests it received better response that the other series that started recently (except Shokugeki).
We'll see if the very slow start hurt the manga in the next few week.

Looking forward to reading Kishimoto's one shot in SQ.
I wonder if it will be a battle manga or another genre like the baseball one shot he did a few years back.

    No justice in the world.
Pajama no Whatever consistently ranked higher than Sensei No Bulge. I gave up on the world then.

If it makes it westwards, then the people localizing it are as goofy as the editors that gave this comic the greenlight.
Fortunately it will die soon...die...please die Koisuru Edison.

But Pajama had few redeeming qualities such as art and character design, and Bulge had its shortcomings.
Edison has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and Cross Manage is a decent manga.

Oh well whatever, CM probably had its final declaration already in the last meeting, and Edison is headed for the rock bottom anyways.

He visited the Mugiwara Store, and liked all the little gimmicks of the store the kids would love.

Just a one-shot on the SQ

Pajama had boobs...Bulge didn't. Therefore, someone out there was turned on by it and AT LEAST voted for it. I'm sure Bulge would have done better if it had early Soul Eater style boob nonsense (as artificial as it would be like it was in Soul Eater).

Edison...has some grotesque "moe" in it that probably got it some votes (though at least Kiruko's moeness is better recieved that...ugh Edison's).

Pajama had a lot of redeeming qualities, right up until it shat the bed and moved away from the actual concept of the damn thing. Barrage made a lot of mistakes, and Jump readers seem to be a bit more brutal to battle manga that don't have the magical 'it'.

But maybe I'm just overly kind to Pajama because I liked the author's previous horrendous failure Dogashi Kaden (which... was complete shite, really), similar to how those who've read Oumagadoki Zoo are properly defensive of Barrage. Except I hear OumaZoo is actually good, so I'm not sure where I'm going with this.
