Storywise, I can't see Medaka Box continuing after the current arc. So I guess it will have a natural ending in about 5-10 chapters.

I just hope it will last long enough for a 3rd anime season to be produced. I want to see the Kumagawa arc animated.

    Dude, Kubo's pirate is awesomesauce.

I'm not too sure about that. There's still a lot of questions (backgrounds and pasts of characters in particular) unanswered thus I can see the manga continuing after the inevitable defeat of the current big bad.
But what Aohige said scares me a little. To think that Medaka Box is at the verge of getting cancelled despite two anime seasons backing it and despite its art and unique story... hopefully that scenario won't come true.

Personally sad about this cause I really like Medaka Box for it characters' powers/skills and of course Kumagawa.

So we only have to wait a week for the next chapters?

Sure, some things could be more developped (especially with Kumagawa). But if the manga ends after this arc, I don't think it will feel rushed.

No, the shelf date for Jump 08/2013 is Jan 21st.
It clearly says so in WSJ's official page, the next WSJ issue, not to mention the very link you just replied to.
I don't know where that 14th came from, but it's wrong.

Ooh, really looking forward to this. Was quite a fan of the shortlived Akaboshi, and the author draws really well.

    Indeed.

But if there was anything to take from Barrage's lesson...

Don't really want to since it'd involve a lengthy explanation of a dumb pun involving sushi and beating the shit out of someone.
The Jump Pirate is claiming to be Chopper's brother, just so he can cash-in on Chopper's franchise popularity as a mascot. (since he's the mascot of Jump), meanwhile Sanji is making a sushi joke involving salted sashimi and beating the pirate.

akaboshi? wasn't that suikoden the manga?

I remember that Akaboshi manga. Very cool art but the story was crappy crap. Kinda like Blue Dragon: Ral/Grado.

And the Beelzebub Jump mascot was hilarious. Anything funny on the description, Aohige?

Akaboshi: If you promise 108 characters, and characters 1 to 15 are dumb, forgetable and boring, you won't last.

Aohige: Oi! anything particulary funny in the end of year "Jump Thing" comics?

Yeah it was. Although I've read that while it did carry the Suikoden name, it wasn't associated with the Suikoden game series itself. I must admit the very reason why I was drawn to that manga was because of the Suikoden subtitle.

Off the context, I could guess:

One Piece: 2th mascot of the sh pirates
    Naruto: the Jumpkage
Toriko: Brewer of the Jump Wisky, a blend 45 years in the making
Bleach: leader of the jump divission, with his bankai where he takes of his eyepatch and a series gets canceled
    Kochikame: ?
Gintama: a weird drawing of Kid Gintoki, or Katsura
    Kuroko: ?
Sket Dance: A transfer student... with a mustache
    Beelzebub: Andalion long lost brother
    Voleyball Manga: A brand?
    AssClass: a cosutme of Korosensei?
    Kurogane: a cheating kendo fighter
Medaka Box: Substitute of the gun chewing girl of the succesors party
    Nisekoi: ?
Bottom 6: soma is written by a pair? Other than that I don't know, other that what did the jump thing eat?

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Also, the people on the top row, are the editors? Are there female editors? or just young thin male editors with long hair?

Whelp. Oda finally drew a pirate with an eyepatch. Series is almost over now.
To support Viz hosting all Jump manga for FREE and day of release, Arlong Park will now support the official release.
    https://www.viz.com/shonenjump

Official chapter discussions now start Sundays at Noon, EST.
Please do not post threads when scan sites release their version, and just discuss those releases in the spoiler thread.

With a lot of fumbling around with a online dictionary, AssClass looks like...
"In order to kill Koro-sensei, a biological weapon was scattered. The corrosion starts fromthe brain... gradually, the heart and mind will become the thing known as Jump."

Sorry, but I'm kinda outta the loop. I just know Barrage was a series that everyone expected to do really well and then it....didn't.

The art is not enough to carry a series.
