By series of one shots, I suppose you mean each author is doing their own separate one shot?

Toriyama (as a mangaka) is kind of like me (as a poster); he lurks around and contributes so rarely that you can never be sure if he's active.

Yes, one per issue starting with #45. All we know about the contents is that the first, Kishimoto's "Bench", will be about baseball.

Yeah it kinda is... its so generic and so...mainstream and it deals with time travel theme that is autofail, its not worst but it does not bring anything to the table either.

I suspect there is also a manga is you really want to read it.

Well there you go. As you can see, I didn't care enough about there series to even glance at that page.

Edit: What if Kubo tried to one-up Kishi by going the golf manga.

    Strangely enough there exists one:

    Kaze no Daichi:
The series is the story Keisuke Okita, who takes up golf at the age of 24 and through talent, hard work, and good coaching quickly turns pro. After a good performance in Asian professional golf tours, he enters the British Open, where he falls in love with his caddy, Lily. He later participates other major golf tournaments, including the Masters Tournament.

It is 52 Volumes long and it sells about 25 Million per Volume

    Edit: 25000 per Volume
