Serious question though. Do you know what the general age is for people who vote in the SJ polls? I'd imagine it's mostly kids and teenagers right?

According to Aohige, yeah it's mostly little kids and the most hardcore of hardcore who do the weekly polls.

Older voters tend to show their support by buying things instead.

So I'm guessing Bleach's chapter is the one where Rukia returned?

In other news, glad to see Sket Dance so high, and amazed Harisugawa in Mirrorland is so high.

Well in that case most of TOC is hardly surprising. Kids are fickle as fuck, no action=no votes. Long established series like HxH are fine if they linger around the bottom for a bit, and to a certain extent that applies for Beelzebub too. It does seem as though fans who buy the merchandise and volumes and such have "better taste" (don't know any other way to put it). Then again, Bleach sells well in terms of volumes and stuff so....I don't know, japanese kids are funny sometimes.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. What chapter is getting ranked exactly? This weeks # minus 8 weeks or something like that? If either Ginjo being evil or Rukias arrival puts Bleach in 2nd, the next few weeks should pretty much cement Bleach in the top 5 again.

And I thought HxH was popular? Is it just big on volume sales?

I don't know if they actualy rank HXH based on what results it got in the poll over a year ago when it's not been 8 chapters yet. I asume they just put it as a placeholder somewhere.
