I rather have Big Bag or Small World back then having to deal with Caillou.

I always thought the biggest problem with Caillou was that it was boring. I never knew he was such a horrible kid.

Is it more boring than Peppa Pig?

Kids are pretty much a crap shoot they can either be somewhat behaved and not terribly annoying. Or badly misbehaved and super annoying.

Granted this is a problem with adults but still.

    So since it's 2021 I figured I'd give Sealab 2021 a rewatch.

For the most part, I think it still holds up pretty well...you know, if it's your style of humor. This was Adam Reed and Matt Thompson's first crack at a TV show and it's definitely zanier and more bizarre than Archer, but that's pretty much part of the Adult Swim brand.

And, of course, this series was marked by the unfortunate passing of Harry Goz, whose character was written out halfway through the show. Personally, I think Shanks was a fine enough replacement for Murphy and the show overall still stayed pretty strong. But yeah, it definitely felt like some of the magic was gone after that. Not to mention Erik Estrada became pretty touch-and-go around that time as well, appearing in maybe a third of the episodes of the last two seasons.

    Still, fun show. Favorite episodes:

    -Lost In Time
    -The Policy
    -Bizarro
    -Tinfins
    -ASHDTV
    -Chalkboard Jungle
    -Dearly Beloved Seed
    -Let 'em Eat Corn
    -Isla de Chupacabra
    -Shrabster
