I just did a cursory google search and that's the number I got.......which I was dumbstruck by, how do the hell do they only have that many episodes after 21 years on Nickelodeon.

    And really a Patrick Spinoff?

Did anybody remember what happened when we got that Jimmy Neutron spinoff with Sheen?

I mean Patrick's probably more popular than Sheen ever was but Patrick's idiocy makes it hard to watch episodes when he has someone to bounce his idiocy off and even harder when he doesn't.

The reason Thundercats got canned was because the toys were not selling that well (they often ended up in bargain bins) and the toymaker (Bandai) decided pull out of supporting the show. No sponsor, no show (and itís not like CN owned it or wanted to pick up that high tab). The ratings, while not bad, also put it belong plenty of other shows on CN like Adventure Time, MAD, Regular Show, Clone Wars, and I think The Looney Tunes Show (on avg.) as well. I doubt the show was also a reruns king either, further dooming it.

Itís worth adding that in 2011, getting ratings of 1.5-1.7 on Cartoon Network was just okay (they would have been fatal on Nick or Disney, which get higher ratings), whereas nowadays that would make it the king of the jungle and savior. Ratings for kidís networks in general have gone down over the years in the past decade (on CN these days, shows struggle to get above 0.5 in for new episodes), so itís not really fair to compare a show from 2011 to a show in 2019 on a different channel.

    Not until you mentioned it.

No, and that's probably the issue here.

Hey guys, remember that animation called Hullabaloo that was started by James Lopez and a bunch of other former Disney animators? The one that they funded on Indiegogo like way back when? Well, they've got an update for us:

So stared watching Rise of TMNT, the designs are somehow off putting, the aren't really great. The fights scenes are really well animated though. The turtles also act like teenagers, which I guess is new dunno I'm not a specialist on the franchise.
My big peeve is that Leo not only has the same VA as but the same personality as 2017's Dewey Duck.

Can't not love and episode where they do a parody of Gilbert and Sullivan.
But the mass suicide animatronics is still creepy.

Finished S1 of Rise of TMNT, I won't say it's the perfect Turtle adaptation, but it's pretty damn sweet.

Netflix really has no shame in naming anything a "Netflix original", huh?

If its the only place airing it or they paid to get it over here in the first place, its pretty fair, even when its obviously a foreign produced work they didn't have much to do with.

While a complete fair, and understandable point. I disagree,a company shouldn't parade a show as "their original product" unless they are involved in the production of it.
I mean "El Chavo" aired in Brazil for 30 years in a open station channel and never they claimed as their original product, people might not know that it was a Televisa production but we knew it was a mexican show of which the network had no influence over it besides owning the exhibition rights.

Just finished Rise of TMNT, is not perfect but it's pretty good. It could cut some more episodic episodes in favor of more lore temed ones, since the first season but I guess they really didn't expect to have S2 cut in half.
Splinter and April chemistry is just too good, and the fighting animations on the important episodes are gorgeous.

Tigtone season 2 just started up. If you aren't watching it, it's managed to be one of the funniest new shows [adult swim] has had in forever. Medieval fantasy parody is super played out in every way possible, and yet they've managed to write a fresh and unique take that feels so quintessential [adult swim], while also having its own identity.

Tigtone is a quest-obsessed DnD murder hobo hero who straight-facedly tackles absurd problems with even more absurd solutions, often by maiming his regenerating partner and best friend Helpy. There are some surprisingly fun jokes about rpgs/adventure games here, but the real selling points are its quick, off-kilter dialogue and bizarrely escalating storylines. From the trailers the show comes off as just being a lot of yelling and violence, but there's a lot of clever weirdness weaving it all together. Plus the show has a unique and interesting art style that combines DnD handbook detailed fantasy painting, with limited doll-like animation supplemented by face only mocap. The result is a style that manages to be simultaneously intense and goofy, like the show itself.

There aren't any real good clips available online, so here's a season 2 trailer. I would recommend looking up some episodes, though, because short clips undersell the experience.. You can check it out on the [adult swim] site, or HBO Max.

Yeah we've known about that since 2013 it was on the schedule, its just been delayed alot because Dreamworks animation in general suffered a bunch of flops back to back and scaled back their animation department. Even How to Train Your Dragon 3 came out 3 years after it was inititally supposed to.

Surprising we haven't gotten trailers yet, but I guess with Covid and all....

I wanted so badly to love The Croods because I've loved every other movie Chris Sanders worked on, and it was pretty to look at, but it just not there storywise.
