Any fans of this music out there? I'm really into Dream Theater, Rush, Yes, and Symphony X. I just discovered this new prog band called "Edensong."
There debut album is amazing. Please check it out!

And no, I'm not a spambot. I am another One Piece loving fool who is eagerly awaiting Chpt. 528. I am seriously looking for other people who want to talk about progressive rock / metal. Plus this new rock band that I found is some of the best stuff I've heard in a while. Any Jethro Tull fans out there?

I am glad you responded Moria, even though you are not interested in any of the above genres. What kind of music do you like then?

This guy sounds too robotic/proper to be an anime fan.

I like to be erudite once in a while, but who the uses phrases like, "I'm glad you responded" and "the above genres?"

Sounds like an advanced music research/promotion technique.

I don't really know who Arizona or Amy Ray is. Not crazy about Band of Horses either.

I listen to different types of Indie/Folk.

King Crimson is sweet. Arguably the founders of progressive rock. Court of the Mofo Crimson King. 20th Century Schizhoid man. Awesome stuff

It came up today in World Geography that my teacher and I are the only two people in the class who know who Geddy Lee is.

So, I guess you could say I like Rush.

That's awesome that Geddy Lee came up in your class. what is your fav Rush album?

Yes is incredible. My favorite song by them is probably "Heart of the Sunrise."

Seen both of these bands live. Amazing spiritual experiences.

Haha! That is hilarious! I never saw the connection between those two. I'll have to look again.

Yes, moving pictures, Tom Sawyer, Limelight, YYZ, so many delights.

Sweet! Where are you gonna see them? Are they still playing with Rick Wakeman?

*raises hand* Me! Yes is my favorite band and I've seen them 15 times live, every tour since 1997 until this year, since I just couldn't get motivated to see them without Jon.

I also like ELP, King Crimson, Porcupine Tree, old Genesis, and Marillion. Actually Marillion is my favorite of the moment, I've been just listening to them non-stop over the past couple of months, although not all their stuff is prog per se.
