Didn't see that coming. Why a retelling? The series did confuse me a lot...but still. Err...why are they little kids? Even if it was in the past, I thought Eureka was created looking like she always did.

I don't know why but everytime I hear about Eureka 7 I tend to make a jack off notion with my hand indicating that I think this series is a waste of time and a waste of good quality animation.

I like it for Renton and Eureka's relationship, I dunno wtf is going on with most of anything else in the series. Fuck, even their relationship confused me sometimes.

Looks like it's retelling to the extreme, they are completely recycling the series into the movie. Also, lol at the title.

I liked the series, but ultimately it included a bunch of pointless shit, it dragged on... and worst of all, it was confusing as all fuck. Then again, I have a weak mind.

I find it less confusing when I think of it this way:

Boy meets girl, ROBOT BATTLES, boy falls in love with girl who turns out to have 3 adoptive kids, ROBOT BATTLES, girl falls in love with boy, boy is happy, TWO ROBOT BATTLES. Everything else is just illusion created by tripped out hippies, which is pretty obvious. All in all, forget the story and just think of the lovey dovey shit and the robot fighting, it hurts your brain less.
