I love Pein and Hanzou (wish we saw more of him). I hope we get a flashback of that fight but I seriously doubt it. And I'm guessing the bodies are some Jutsu Pein is using, that seems most likely to me. Or maybe Bijuu's but it seems less likely to me.

But anyways, nice chapter.

And I think Kishi has seriously forgot Zetsu. We're about to see AL in action, and we have barely heard a word from his surbodinate Zetsu.

The only disapointment was the Pein's body change confirmation at the end. But the chapter has got me anticipating that Pein will soon be one of my favorite characters in Naruto, if not my favorite character.

Recent chapters have been building Pein up as a beast and apparently a cold-hearted terminator type. Depending on how bad Pein beats up Jiraiya this could shatter whatever notions people have of Uchiha dominance. I'm still not sold on Pein, but am happy with his solid, albeit a little awkward, build-up as a monster.

Yeah, there are so many opportunities for plant-man to just pop out of the ground and do something, but alas it appears it will never be. Oh course, I'd prefer we never see him again if the alternative is for him to be fed to the second-string ninjas following Naruto around currently. My hope still resides in him being the major subordinate to Tobidara and an incredible powerhouse. Chances are slim, but still possible.
