Here's a little theory about the outcome of this posted on NF that would actually be very good. I'm hoping this actually happens.

There is another possibility which I mentioned last week. Sasuke could use "that jutsu" which Orochimaru told him not to use in order to finish Orochimaru, but lose control of it so that it blows up in Sasuke's face and badly injures him. This would serve as Sasuke's fall and would prevent Orochimaru from immediately taking him over. It would tie in with Kakashi's warning about the risks of powerful jutsu. It would be a huge setback for both Sasuke and Orochimaru, possibly prompting Orochimaru to look for an alternate container, i.e. Yamato, and progressing the plot.

And it would be very, very, very satisfying.

On that note - I don't think Kishimoto will kill Oro off right now. They'll probably have a huge fight, and then it'll be interupted by:

...this is all very confusing. volume after volume you want orochimaro to just get slaughtered and when it finally looks like he was going to die you don't want it to happen cause it would be plain stupid.

My guess is that Sasuke and Oro will have a good fight where Sasuke barely wins, but before landing the killing blow, Kabuto intervenes. At which point, Sasuke uses the Uchiha Art of Run to escape. Then Oro takes Kabuto's body before his time is up.

We don't know this. This could just be another of his oral rebirth things from when he fought Naruto. And if he's not I suppose his other choice is to stay in the big snake form.

Just curious, but who actually thinks Orochimuru will did anytime soon? I don't believe he will, but I hope he does not get Sasuke's body either. (Besides, isn't Sasike supposed to be 'saved' by Naruto and co?). What do you guys think?
