    C) Was just a way for them to get out of having Ronda beat Nia (who they already buried before MITB and at MITB via Alexa cashing in and beating her) and also an easy way to give Ronda aheel to feud with.
She was still over and those are decent enough reasons to put it on her.

I mean sure if you overlook them awkwardly screwing Bryan out of the title three times, Orton feuding with the Big Show who screwed Bryan out of the title the 3rd of the three times, the Royal Rumble fiasco, and Bryan tapping out a returning Batista at WrestleMania instead of Orton who started the whole mess further illustrating WWE doesn’t give a damn about continuity most of the time.
In the grand scheme of it all, it all ended up working, regardless of who Bryan tapped out. It's hard to comment on continuity when if they had anything planned with Orton/Daniel afterward (for instance a Summerslam match) it would have been derailed by Bryan's injury.

Wouldn’t have mattered since they would have fed him to Brock or simply doomed Braun to having a reign worse than Ambrose did.
Ambrose's reign didn't get over in the long run, but it led to AJ's first one, which was excellent. Plus it had a terrific and memorable start (though they definitely wasted the Shield triple threat.)

I guess it’s not a good time to point out Sheamus cashes in on Roman minutes after having gotten pinned in one of the dumbest Survivor Series matches where the finish involved him the “heel” valiantly trying to overcome the odds against three fresh babyfaces who all beat his ass.

And the follow up to that win over Reigns was the formation of one of the most superfluous and pointless stables since Team Paige and Team Bad from the Women’s Revolution.
To me it seems irrelevant to point out every booking failure if the point is whether someone should or should have not been given the contract. The actual point is whether the intended use of it was utilized well in the end and whether that potentiality was worth it at all. Sheamus as the winner worked out because it got Roman over better than winning the belt could in any other fashion. Sheamus was so obnoxious that people were happy to see Roman beat the crap out of him and then to see him beat the crap out of Triple H (something that didn't work months later in the build to Wrestlemania) The crowd (an extremely hardcore Philly one) was able to buy into his anger and actually care about him because of how he was screwed and who screwed him and it made his win the next night at RAW really special. What happened directly after that or before it is all really weirdly entangled in bad Vincisms. But at TLC and the next night in Philly the fans were really behind him. I can't begin to defend Vince and WWE for very much, but I think this was the start of when the fans were pretty much treating Roman unfairly over him not being ready. Still, the whole Triple H feud that followed was a misstep and I've always thought they should have either put the belt on Dean at Roadblock and put him against Roman at mania or kept the belt on Roman and had Dean win the Royal Rumble. It would have been tremendous for both guys and you could have went either way with Roman.

Except by that same logic Sasha, Lynch, & yes even Charlotte who were all over themselves could’ve won as well instead they went with the girl who was effectively the sixth best choice to win and once again was already coming off back to back title reigns. And who ultimately was little more than a transitional champion.

I mean they had already derailed his run by immediately having him feud with Kane, booking him again as the underdog, and by proxy continuing the whole DB vs The Authority storyline since Kane was apart of the Authority. All his injury did was ensure they’d continue the Authority idiocy with someone else which of course they did

But none of those wins were utilized effectively though. They either lead to shitty title reigns or were used to setup equally shitty storylines (or both). Or in Baron Corbin’s case nothing, at least when Cena failed to cash in that lead to a feud.......with the Big Show who was not Champion at the time and eventhough they already feuded back in 2004/2009.

Which as you mentioned lasted briefly, after that feud Reigns went back to being largely hated in pretty much every successive feud he would have afterwards. If WWE had took at least two years to build to Reigns getting that main event push everything with him starting from 2015 to onwards would be moot but nope gotta push guys you like and think are ready instead of who the fans want to see or are legit ready.

Not surprising, Vince's lawyer makes a stupid comment about Owen Hart situation.

Tonight's episode of Dark Side of the Ring is going to be interesting.

In interest of fairness no one looks good in any of that especially Bret if that's true.

The Owen Hart episode of Dark Side of the Ring is one of the most heartbreaking thing I ever seen. I don't blame Owen's family at all for not wanting him in the hall of fame.

So let me get this straight Charlotte is defending the NXT title at Takeover In Your House but this monday she's going to be involved in a #1 Contender's match for the Raw Women's title.

    Charlotte stans: cHaRlOtTe iSn'T oVeRpUsHeD.

Let's also have her show up on all three shows for literally no reason and when no else is doing this. They also put Natalya in the match not Liv Morgan who comically enough has been winning matches whereas Natalya just lost to Shayna this week.

As much I like Charlotte, even I agree she is being on tv too much lately. I rather had Liv and Shanya being in the triple threat match over Charlotte and Natalya.

Holy shit, this has been a bad week for wrestling. Rip Hana Kimura. I feel really bad for her family and friends and really just for such a young life to go out like that. Damn

Double or Nothing was amazing. The entire show was great in my opinon, I actually was surpise that Shida won the women's championship tonight. The Stampede match was way better then the WWE's Titan Tower Money in the Bank match.

So just seen Double or Nothing, and to be frank it was great, one of the better PPV's I've seen in a long time, BUT I wouldn't call it amazing, or anything above great.

I see a few poor things and a few amazing things which can level out somewhat.

    My fav things
Sammy G as a whole, under the radar a bit with MJF being the best heel on AEW, but Sammy is superb in the role.
More right than wrong match outcomes. Always great to finish a PPV thinking this was great the right guys won mostly, something WWE struggles with on their main PPV's.
The finish to the title match. Felt the loser would be hurt by the match but having the ref call it leaves open ended without hurting either guy, Mox still looks good and Brodie still feels menacing.
MJF... just MJF. More MJF please on anything AEW related. This guy is as close to heel perfection as we may see in the next 10 years of heels.

    My hated things
Orange Cassidy - Not his biggest fan but his use in the ladder match is Otis MITB level dumb. I get he's meant to be lazy but he came off moronic and stupid in trying to use the ladder.
Shawn Spears - Note to AEW - PICK A PATH AND STAY ON THE PATH WITH HIM PLEASE!!! I don't know what they are trying to do and feels like a creative have nothing for you right not thing, plus the match was just why.
Hardy in water/ reincarnation spot - Ok, another WTF moment that ended with meh, felt done for the sake of being done and honestly shouldn't have been in this match as not needed.

Also as a final though, any companies wanting to do an experience like the Stampede match... make sure the match type compliments what you are trying to do. Stampede did this excellently, heck the boneyard match in WWE did it decently enough too (MITB failed massively in this), but on the Stampede match they picked a 5 on 5 match anywhere falls and this worked together well, it split up the match allowed the guys to get into the spot areas without feeling forced and allowed for quick transitions to keep the match pace moving while the guys around for the other spots, so credit to AEW for that one.

Some major changes for WWE tv tonight. As an NHL fan, I hope the wrestlers bang on the glass when someone hit the barrier.

They could've at least given the audience members chairs.

Kevin Owens putting over Garza is huge.

Too bad WWE will forget about it in the coming weeks like EC3 beating Ambrose.

That was really disappointing. Since AEW let their wrestlers sit down in chairs in their empty arena shows.

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Nia hurt Kairi again at today's Raw taping. This is the 2nd time in a month that she did this to Kairi. She's getting an reputation of hurting people, and that's not a good thing.

She’s had this reputation for awhile now and of course nothing will come up it.

FTR have arrived in AEW!! I can't wait for the dream match between them and the Young Bucks.

That was a WCW like brawl to end tonight's episode of Dynamite. And it was amazing.
