  1. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Just bought it. Can confirm it's dubbed!
  2. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

The first two episodes from S8V3 are available to stream for subscribers on Funi's website.
  3. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

    @johnburgmeier on Twitter
  4. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't put them up at all in order to sell more DVDs...
  5. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

It's not midnight in Dallas yet, so they may still be true to their word and upload them on 5/31.....

It's almost like they're reading this thread and purposely screwing with us at this point.
  6. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

You used to have to pay $8 a month to stream the episodes. Now I think you can watch them in SD for free and in HD with a subscription.
  7. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

    16 characters of not yet
  8. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

    16 characters of 465
  9. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Has anyone with the latest set listened to Doflamingo's speech? And if so, how does it sound?
  10. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

The S8V1 episodes will be up on 5/31
  11. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Great to hear John Gremillion back as Mihawk after a long absence. Also, it's awesome that Travis Willingham continues to play Ace even though he's completely moved on from anime. I know Mike's...
  12. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

It says that she will be Skyping in along with Luci Christian, so it can't be anything too serious.
  13. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

NOOOOOO So Mike's not directing Marineford??
  14. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Probably not going to happen. I think in a OPP interview Mike and Joel talked about how doing a broadcast dub would be a logistics nightmare due to the size of the cast.
  15. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion IV (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Question about the S8V1 trailer: Which character says the line "so many twists, a fine execution?" It sounds like Ian Sinclair's voice.

  17. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Finally got my hands on a copy of Voyage 5. Voices/commentaries were great, and Eric's pasta from the cooking with Sanji video looked awesome. Really glad Mike's back directing again this set, though...
  18. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

I remember reading that Tatum said he'd like to play Iva (which is a good idea IMO), but that's probably not happening since he already played Sphinx and also Mike/Joel said they want to get more...
  19. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

I'm unsubscribing. Early One Piece was the only thing I used it for.
  20. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Welp. Guess they're not putting the voyages up 2 weeks early to stream anymore. That's a shame, though I suppose not uploading them in advance is better for DVD sales, so I can't blame 'em.
  21. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Does anyone know when the Voyage 5 episodes will be available to stream for Funi subscribers? I don't see One Piece on the streaming schedule.

  23. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Reminder that the first batch of Impel Down episodes are available for FUNimation subscribers tomorrow (though they'll probably be delayed several hours like last time.)
  24. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Agreed. Lydia Mackay knocked it out the park.
  25. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

They're up, but they're not viewable yet. This happened the last few times.
  26. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Voices sounded good, but the music was strange
  27. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

I think Troy Baker does union-only work now.

Regarding recasts, does Yasopp have any lines in Marineford? Because if so, he's definitely getting recast considering Scott Freeman's situation...
  28. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

That's good to hear! I love his Mihawk.
  29. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

As far as I know, John Swasey (Crocodile), Barry Yandell (Bon Clay) and Duncan Brannan (Mr. 3) all still reside in Texas and will be able to reprise their roles. I'm not sure about where John...
  30. Re: Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

To those who have received their Voyage 2 DVDs, who are on the commentaries?
