RIP Buddy Strike. May the third time be the charm, Kaito.

I don't read Sesuji, but did it get bad? I remember lots of people liking it.

Like Kagex3 said, he learned from his mistakes. Horikoshi found the right balance between his own originality and the shonen-ness required to succeed in SJ, and it shows. It's my favorite series...

To each their own, but it looks awkwardly shoehorned in to me.

It reminds me of how Horikoshi went from Oumaga to Barrage. Oumaga was unpopular because it wasn't shonen enough, but Barrage tried...

Lol@ those Cross Manage parallels. Kaito pls.

I preferred CM though, to be honest. It feels like Kaito's awkwardly trying to force in the shonen-ness that CM lacked.

    The main pitcher and...

Isobe's the only one in a fixed position. I know it's always at the bottom.

Buuuuuuuuuut for some reason it's above Devilyman and Lady Justice this week (though the latter makes sense since it's...

"Bottom 3" is read as "bottom three". "Bottom third" refers to the bottom 33% of series in that ranking (which I guess would make it about "the bottom 7" in this case).

Such a shame, really. It gambled with having a character setup outside the norm for a shonen manga, but it didn't work out. Better luck next time, Fukuda.

Best Blue was pretty standard for a shonen, but definitely a lot better than Kiruko was. Nice to see some improvement, Hirakata.

Yessssss. I really hope a scanlation team picks this up.

Well obviously. But for a series so consistent in the middle/mid-high range, it's weird for it to drop so suddenly.

Tabata's art is too static for my tastes, but I always found his use of muted colors interesting.
