    Momo?

If such a transformation is good enough for Billy Batson/Shazam! (Captain Marvel-DC), maybe it can work for Momo.

    Sad tale.

As a middle-aged guy who enjoys manga, Miura's death has made me more convinced: Whatever your epic tale, whether weekly, bi-monthly or monthly, keep your story tight and tell it in 12...

    Tokita Ohma shall be missed.

We'll see what the new arc has in store for Yamashita, his kid coming out of the shadows and this "Tiger" group.

Re: Chapter 903: The fifth emperor

I think that's a hint that Oda should wrap One Piece up in the next 10 years. Seems to me that any mangaka saga shouldn't take more than 25 years tops to tell, and most of these could have been done...

    Re: Toriko III: Bye Tommyrod!!

That's why I'm a proponent of a manga not going more than 10 years at a time. After the 10 years, if you want to continue a story as a GT or "beyond" phase...that's up to the mangaka, the...

Re: Toriko III: Acacia Just Damage Knocking Released My Heart!!

So was Acacia's "altruism" in giving "God" to the world to stop the war and start the Gourmet Age only for the purpose of fattening up the people and the planet for consumption?

    One of the side...

Sticky: Re: General Shueisha TOC and News

And again, I continue to assert my point.

Want to write a great story? It shouldn't take this (that) long!

A major arc shouldn't take more than a year. The entire adventure should be able to...

Sticky: Re: General Shueisha TOC and News

Yeah I know. And that emphasizes my point. I like One Piece, that Oda is spinning a complex tale...but it's been 18 years now and he might be 2/3s through with the story that he wants to tell?

Sticky: Re: General Shueisha TOC and News

That's why I've become a believer that no manga - NO MANGA - should take more than 10 years to tell your story.

A mangaka normally bangs out (barring holidays and vacations) - 40-42 stories a year...
