    Re: Chainsaw-man

I feel that way too, but wrapping it in the tits thing feels really ham-fisted. Just detracts from the rest of the manga imho. Right now any nuance to the situation is purely what we bring to the...

    Re: Chainsaw-man

The art is good, the theme is fine, the setting is cool, but the main character just sucks and his motivations keep getting set up for a bit of deepening without ever really satisfying that goal....

That ending is not what I'd expected. A follow up in the same universe maybe to close off some of the loose ends?

    Re: The Promised Neverland

Wow, this was predictable AF, I'm a little disappointed by the post-timeskip chapters. Let's see if a refocus on the original 'main cast' and their expanded group will save it, or if callbacks to the...

Cool to have the Setsuna arc change here. Half expect him to get up after being pronounced loser and kill Kuroki, who has some endboss vibes of his own going on. More and more insight into the...

    Re: Wangtangchang the Yurutto Hunter.

This is one of those things that I don't get and know I won't really get but keep reading a bit longer than I should out of some sort of voyeur-ish impulse.

    Re: Witch Hat Atelier

It's cute, it's interesting, I don't feel any real connection to the characters but it's got enough going on to give it some time. Good find, thanks for posting :)

Self aware and borderline homoerotic, fuckin weird and great. I eagerly await more.

Hah, dang that was an age ago. Good find though.
  12. Sticky: Re: What manga are you reading and how do you like it? What do you plan to read?

I'd be interested in seeing a thread about things people have read and really enjoyed across genres - assume it's been done in some form or another already, but I've sort-of-enjoyed a lot that's been...

So - Rihito's fucked, I guess. My money is on bear guy teaching him a lesson in humility or something, rather than killing him or ending his fighting career. Author did a pretty decent job of making...

    Re: The Promised Neverland

It's a lot like the best of Hunter x Hunter in a lot of ways, to me. I mean that as about the highest compliment I can give to a manga, for whatever it's worth. Great characters, cool world, good...

Poll: Re: Hiatus x Hiatus III: Hibernation x Hibernation

You're not wrong - and your initial point about the rough edges going by smoother if the release schedule were more consistent is pretty dead on, but I don't think this thread is meant for...

    Re: Jagaaaaaaan *♪Shoot 'Em Up♪*

Okay well I'm in for a few chapters, it's just ugly enough and just weird enough and anything that has even an implicit critique of capitalism in the first chapter can't be all bad.

Can we have a separate thread for Vigilantes maybe? It's a spinoff but it has its own following and discussion. Doesn't seem like it fits in this convo thread.

    Re: Onepunch-Man (ONE's original webcomic)

It's also just super frustrating. For this sort of thread, I usually am looking for exactly an imgur link. Getting a single image sucks.
